I drove over the grapevine a few days ago to keep an appointment with my accountant and was hoping to see more wild flowers that we saw. Let's hope some of these April Showers really do bring some May flowers! Oh well, but at least the accountant made me happy. Greetings everyone! I hope you all survive(d) Tax Day! I drove over the grapevine a few days ago to keep an appointment with my accountant and was hoping to see more wild flowers that we saw. Let's hope some of these April Showers really do bring some May flowers! Oh well, but at least the accountant made me happy.

18th-24th:• Lodi, CA: Camp Delta Spring Meet; at Tower Park Resort. This is the largest annual Historic

Military Vehicle event in the West. 200 vehicles expected including trailers. We take over the entire Stockton Delta KOA which is six miles west of I-5 at 14900 S.R. 12, Lodi, CA 95242. Casual vehicle show and BIG swap meet. No admission, parking, vendor, or vehicle registrationfees. All vendors must rent campsites. All former military vehicles are welcome in any condition and we have free, high profile display space for day users and those staying in hotels which are six miles away. BBQ dinners, living history displays, and a special display of CUCV and LSSV trucks on Friday morning (Commercial Utility Cargo Vehicle from the 1970s-80s) with a People's Choice Contest and cash prizes! 23rd:• Carmichael, CA: Forth Annual Carmichael Elks Classic Car Show and Swap Meet; The event

will be held in our spacious and shady backyard, 5631 Cypress Avenue. General Admission is free. Competition Car entry fees are $30.00, which includes a Goodie Bag. Early Bird registration (Before April 1, 2016) entitles entrants to a Complementary Continental breakfast wrist band. This year we will hold a Guessing Game 50/50 raffle that features a Volkswagen engine that will run without any oil in it. The person who correctly guesses how many minutes and seconds that the engine will run before seizing up will split the ticket sales for the Guessing Game 50/50 with the Lodge.
