Cargoholddeckthickness:minimum16mm;deck,bottom,sidethickness:minimum12mm.

2.2PaintingandprotectionSurfacepreparationandpaintingwillbecarriedoutinaccordancewithPaintMakersrecommendation,underPaintMakerssupervision,andasperbuilderspractise.Atwo-componentlowzincsilicatetypeshopprimerwillbeprovidedforallsteelsurfaces.

Theshipisdesignedtocarryironoreondeck,betweenverticalsteelcoamings(heightabt.4.8m).Dimensionofcargoarea:abt.77.5x14m.Thedeckwillbestiffenedinordertoalloworetransportation.

3.2CoamingsThecoamingssurroundingthecargoareawillbeprovidedwithopeningsintheirlowerpart,inordertoallowproperdrainageofcargohold,howeverthenumberandsizeofthoseopeningsshouldbekepttoaminimumasallowedbyrules.

Themaindeckshouldbeprovidedonsideswithscuppersenablingtocollecttherain/oremixturecomingthroughtheabovedrainopeningsincoamings.Itwillbepossibletodirectthismixture

3.3Raincovers

Weathertightcoverswillbefittedontopofcoamingsinordertoprotectthecargofromrain.Material:AluminiumType:Sliding,telescopicOperation:ElectricalThehatcheswillbestoredabovetheforecastledeck,inordertoallowtoleavefullyopentheentirecargoarea.Thehatcheswillslidealongrailsfittedontheoutersideofthecargocoamings,slightlylowerthanthetopofthecoamings,inordertoavoidanydamageoftherailsbygrabs.

4Shipequipment

4.1Thrusters

4azimuththrusterswillbefitted,SchottelSRP550orequivalent,oneateachcornerofthehull.Output:abt.900kWeachPropeller:FixedpitchElectricmotor:DC,variablespeedThepropellerswillbemountedinawellanditwillbepossibletoremovethemwhentheshipisafloat.Theforepropellerswillbesurroundedbyacageenablingtodivertobstacleslikefloatingtreesthatcoulddamagethepropellers.Forthesamepurpose,adivertingskegwillbeprovidedafewmetersforeoftheaftpropellers.

The4thrusterswillbecontrolledbyajoystick.ThissystemwillbelinkedtoatrackingsystemconnectedtoECDIS(Ownersspecifiedequipmentallowfor200k$cost).

4.2NavigationandsearchingequipmentTheequipmentwillfulfilallclassandinternational/nationalrules,andwillincludeatleast:
