ISU Football Coach Matt Campbell was previously head coach at Toledo from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, Campbell had been an assistant at Toledo, Bowling Green, and Mount Union. Campbell grew up in Ohio and

briefly attended the University of Pittsburgh before transferring to Mount Union, where he played defensive line. Mount Union won three Division III championships during Campbell’s career. Campbell himself was twice named to the College Football All-America Team and named Ohio Athletic Conference Defensive Lineman of the Year. Iowa State University named Campbell its head coach in 2015, and he was named the Big 12 Coach of the Year in 2017.

Steve Bruere is the president of Peoples Company, an Iowa-based land brokerage with a diversified offering of land management, land appraisal and land investing services in 19 states across the

country. He currently stays active with speaking engagements across the country and serves on many industry boards, including the Iowa Chapter of The Nature Conservancy Board of Trustees, the Strategic Advisory Board for the Iowa Secretary of Agriculture, the UNI Real Estate Program Advisory Council, and chairing Iowa’s Soil and Water Future Task Force. He is the past president of the Iowa Chapter of the REALTORS® Land Institute, which also named him Farm and Land Broker of the Year in 2013.

Jeff Courter is a shareholder in Nyemaster Goode’s Business, Finance, and Real Estate and Litigation Departments. His practice is concentrated in the areas of creditor rights and bankruptcy. Jeff routinely represents

clients across the state of Iowa in all types of creditor rights matters, including foreclosures of mortgages and security interests, replevins, breaches of contract/lease, and suits on notes.
