So you are planning on installing a system that lets you listen to music through your home. We think that’s great. Our business isn’t really about electronics, although that is what we sell. Our business is about the pleasure listening to music provides. While our four decade-old company was born in an era of “hifi”, we were the ones with the vision that music must be easy to access in every room of your home. And while multi-room music does permit you and others to listen to different music or entertainment simultaneously, the true joy of having your house setup for multi-room music is really all about hav-ing the ability to let the music follow you throughout your home and outdoor living spaces. As the “brand of excellence” for CEDIA (the custom-installation industry), when it comes to listening to music throughout your home, there is nothing else like an ADA.Ultimately, there are four basic elements about multi-room systems you must take into consideration beyond just what you want to listen to (the source): audio distribution, sound quality, ease of operation, as well as durability & longevity. Without really making the most out of these four points, you will end up with a system that either does not evenly spread sound, one that you don’t love to listen to, a system you or your family can’t operate, or a system that won’t work as long as you thought it should. One or all will diminish what we feel should be an exceptional life-style experience.

Audio Distribution – While we are huge fans of companies like Sonos, we want you to look at the Sonos com-mercial that first aired during the 2014 Super Bowl (Google it). We LOVE the commercial because without a saying a word, it illustrates our vision of the ultimate beauty of multi-room music. But while that spot clearly describes the “fill your home with music” experience, it falsely represents the spreading of colors as the filtration of sound. While it looks like it works, you cannot possibly fill a home with evenly distributed audio from three speakers and a sound bar. That is simply not possible. Instead, you want to place speakers strategically so that the sound is evenly distributed to all rooms. This where an ADA System comes into play.

Sound Quality – We are still the “Rolls Royce” of multi-room sound because we understand that for the most part, you are not going to listen to music at ear splitting levels (although our systems can do that too). In fact, most of your listening will be at what is frequently called “background” levels. And this is where the knee-jerk reaction is to simply go for “good enough.” From our standpoint, if you are listening to music, regardless of volume level, it should never sound like some version of elevator music. ADA Suite Systems are first and foremost true “hi-fidelity” stereo systems. And at lower volume levels, ones at which you can still enjoy conversation with your family and guests, levels that will still envelop and embrace you, sound that has a warm and smooth bass line without being overpowering - well that is the hallmark of an ADA Suite System. We kick butt when you want to rock, but we really stand above all other solutions when it comes to listening to music at volume levels that frankly you will most likely use most of the time. Our systems feature an active Loudness Contour filter that enhances bass at low volume levels as well as Stereo-Enhancement filter that make even invisible speakers sound more spatial. Above all, our sound is crystal clear, bold and clean, which really makes up for the digital and compressed artifacts of steaming music services (the source you will listen to the most). We know that if you love the sound, you will use your ADA each and every day. Like turning on the lights when you walk into a room, you will also WANT to turn on the music too.

Ease of Operation – This is simple. If you can’t control it, turn it on or off and adjust volume, you won’t use it. And while we do make what we call MC’s or Music Controls, the fact is that you will most likely use an App or some other control device to not just control the music in your home, but lighting and other features as well. And this is where an ADA System stands alone. We integrate with any control system including those yet to come. We are “control agnostic”. Whether you are considering a Control4, Crestron, Savant, AMX, RTI, URC, Vantage, or Lutron control system (you get the gist), an ADA Suite System will integrate perfectly. Each zone (room) can be preset so that whenever you turn it on to your favorite source, the sound and volume level will be perfect every time.

Durability & Longevity – Frankly this is the invisible ADA benefit that you won’t truly come to appreciate for another 10 or 20 years when your ADA System is still working long after other appliances and home systems have failed. It all begins with our engineering and design that is done in-house and takes into consideration more years of understanding the intricacies of custom installed electronics than any other company. We also proudly manufacture by hand in the United States of America using only the best parts and components. We never skimp on the essential ingredients that are the heart-and-soul of an electronic component. This is not some made up sales pitch. Most ADA Systems dating back to the late 1970’s are still in operation today, many incorporating the latest control systems and streaming media sources.
