CARLOS ALVAREZ DE ALBA

Mr. Alvarez is Chairman of the Board and CEO of Stella Holdings.

He is a CPA form ITESM and attended Post-Graduate studies at the IPADE Business School. In 2012 he was named finalist in Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the year award. In 2012 Entrepreneurs Organization invited him as a Judge for the Global Student Entrepreneurs Award, held at the Mexican Stock Exchange. In 2013 he was selected by the Minister of Economy to represent the El Semillero profile (Start Up Profile) for the INADEN Museography. In 2014 The City of Monterrey awarded him with The Lorenzo Zambrano Treviño Medal for Business and Entrepreneurship, for the concept of Innovation and Technology. He serves in the Advisory board of Nuevo Amanecer A.C., which gives education and training to handicapped children.

JAIME F. CANTÚ

Mr. Cantu currently serves as CEO of Diestel, a Mexican transaction processing company with more than 60,000 points of sales connected to their network. Previously Mr. Cantu was CFO of Grupo Domos, a Mexican environmental conglomerate with interest in water treatment facilities and solid waste management.

Mr. Cantu was an Associate in JPMorgan Chase’s Latin-American Investment Banking working in debt restructuring, M&A and debt issuance deals.Mr. Cantu has post-graduate studies in Harvard University, an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS in Computer Systems from the ITESM. Mr. Cantu was named finalist in Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the year award in 2012.

ALEJANDRO VALDES GUZMAN

Mr. Valdes has over 20 years experience in manufacturing, operations and quality control in industrial facilities in countries ranging from Mexico to Italy.

Previously Mr. Valdés held several positions in CERAMOSA, a leader Mexican ceramic company with sales in the Latin American market, most recently as the company’s CEO. During Mr. Valdes’ tenure as CERAMOSA’s CEO he doubled the size of the company by implementing sourcing and manufacturing projects in China. He also worked with Fortuna Group in Civita Castellana, Italy.

Mr. Valdés was member of the Board in the Mexican Ceramic Society. Mr. Valdes has an MBA from IPADE Bussiness School and is an Industrial Engineer from the ITESM.

JESUS MARIO GONZALEZ

Extensive experience in Strategic Planning, Project Structuring, Project Finance and Value Based Management. He has occupied different key value positions in world class companies such as CEMEX, ING Insurance Group and the ITESM. During the last 5 years, he has been advising O&G Mexican firms to define his strategic goals and articulate such objectives with the specific action plans that include financial, technical and human capital areas.

He is Member of the Board and Advisor to the CEO of CAVA Energy. Jesus earned his B.A. in Accounting and an MBA in Monterrey Tech (ITESM) and a M.P.A (Master in Professional Accounting) from The University of Texas at Austin.

RODRIGO PEÑA  Legal director of CAVA Energy.Law graduate with an MBA from ITESM Monterrey Campus. With 15 years experience in corporate and business law. He has been part of the Legal Department of Cerveceria Cuauhtemoc Moctezuma, SA de CV, Grupo Domos, Inc. de CV, Beam Global, Inc. de C.V. (Office Mexico / Central America) and Diestel, SA de C.V. directing the legal departments of the last three.

He has developed his professional expertise in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, corporate books, negotiating and drafting all types of contracts and agreements, as well as supervision of litigation.

JUAN CARLOS GANEM  Mr. Ganem is Managing Partner, Mining & Metals, of CAVA Energy.With over 12 years of experience in managerial positions, for the last 6 years Mr. Ganem acted as General Director and as a Board member for Hochschild Mining Mexico, (LSE: HOC). He has an extensive experience in mining operations, project development, general administration and legal matters. Prior to Hochschild, Mr. Ganem was an in-house lawyer at Hylsamex (now Ternium NYSE: TX) a steel manufacturing company, supporting the finance, securities, commercial and mining areas.

With a legal background, Mr. Ganem holds a Masters degree in Corporate Law from the University of Illinois, an MBA by a joint program with the Universities of North Carolina, Erasmus Rotterdam, FGV Brazil, China in Hong Kong and the EGADE Business School, he also holds a degree for Strategy Execution Programme at INSEAD in France.
