FOLDING WINDSCREEN FOR “ANGULAR” HOOD FULL SIZE UNITS (16575) As illustrated below, this kit consists of: Folding windscreen Qty: 1 Mounting clip Qty: 2 Clip retainer Qty: 2 Weather seal Qty: 1 Dash seal Qty: 1 16401 rev. A Procedure: 1 After unpacking the windscreen, install windscreen clips to lower windscreen by carefully pushing the clips onto the lower windscreen cutouts as shown in Fig 1. Use caution to: a. Install the clip in the correct orientation. Lower windscreen flange and upper windscreen flanges should face up as shown in figure 1. b. Install using firm pressure, but DO NOT hammer the clip onto the windscreen or damage may occur. 3 Install the weather seal to the lower flange on the windscreen. The bulb portion of the seal should be on the BOTTOM side of the flange such that it seals against the hood as shown in figure 3. 2 Install dash seal along front edge of dash as shown in figures 2 & 3. 4 With the clips and weather seal installed on the lower windscreen, install on the vehicle by snapping the clips over the “A” pillar of the vehicle as shown in figures 2 & 3. 5 optional hard top upper windscreen fig. 3 weather seal hood lower windscreen flange dash seal Proper installation should result in the weather seal filling the space between the hood and lower flange. Refer to figure 3 for proper seal orientations. 6 With the windscreen in place, install the clip retainers onto the windscreen clip by sliding them upward from the bottom of the clip. DO NOT use standard glass cleaner. Windscreen should be cleaned using a plastic or acrylic cleaner that can be purchased at most major retailers. Procedure:
