    FOR DETAILED INFORMATION

    REGARDING VEHICLE BATTERY

    CHARGING AND SAFETY, PLEASE FOL-

    LOW THE SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS

    THAT CAME WITH YOUR BATTERY

    PACK AND CHARGER.

Your vehicle will not operate without a

    6.0V rechargeable NiCd battery pack

and charger. For best results, use only

    a TYCO® R/C battery pack and charger.

To install the battery pack in this vehi-

cle, please refer to Section VII, “Bat-

    tery Installation.”

Your vehicle is compatible with both

    the TYCO® R/C Flash Charge™ battery

pack and charger AND the TYCO® R/C

6.0V Jet Turbo® battery pack and

    charger. The Flash Charge™ power

system charges 8 TIMES FASTER than

    conventional chargers…and less

charge time means MORE driving time!

    PICK UP AN EXTRA BATTERY!

    Charge additional battery packs ahead

of time for longer non-stop action!

    V. QUICK TIPS❶ When your vehicle starts to lose

formance. It’s time for a recharge.

    Your vehicle’s running time may

    change depending on your driving

    style.

❷ Radio interference can make yourvehicle run badly. Interference can

be caused by other R/C vehicles

    running on the same frequency;

    electrical wires; large buildings; or

CB radios. Try to stay away from

    these!

❸ Point your transmitter antenna up -not down toward your vehicle. If

your vehicle gets too far away, it

    won’t work properly.

❹ Don’t drive your vehicle in sand orthrough water or snow. After dri-

ving, remove any water from your

vehicle, wipe with a towel and

    allow to dry completely.

❺ Don’t store your vehicle near heator in direct sunlight. Always turn

switches OFF and remove all batter-
