“NVR" brand Pipe Fittings withstand higher internal and external pressure without development of cracks as these are produce by using
better melting characteristics and heat treatment procedures to provide better ductility.
“NVR" Brand Fittings are galvanized by highest purity Zinc in the Virgin form by controlled hot dip process. Therefore, these have
uniform, clean and continuous coating of Zinc on both internal and external un machined surface without any black spots and as well as
acid spots. In “NVR" Brand Pipe Fittings, The thickness of Zinc coating exceeds the minimum specified in the Indian Standard, so as to
provide added resistance to corrosion in abnormal weather conditions.
“NVR" brand Pipe Fittings are chamfered slightly at each end thread opening for easy entrance of pipe and correct first thread
engagement.
“NVR" Brand Pipe Fittings are threaded after galvanizing in order to keep the threads clear and free from dregs .All outlets are threaded
simultaneously with the help of ground taps on automatic threading machines to ensure perfect thread alignment at correct angles so
“NVR" Brand Pipe Fittings have threads matching the theoretically correct profile. These dimensions are maintained within closer
tolerance limits which ensures close contact with pipe and eliminates the hazard of leakage. Threads are free from defects such as thin
threads, break threads and fins.

a) Raw materials are tested for their required chemical composition before melting in the laboratory.b) Raw castings are also chemically tested for their compositions.c) Galvanized castings are tested to ensure the zinc coating is not less than the specified 610 gms/m² as per IS:6745-1972.
It is done to ensure that the Fittings have acquired a desired micro structure after annealing.
Raw castings are subjected to strict visual inspection to ensure that there are no blow holes and are in proper shape and then annealed
grinded and shot blasted castings are inspected and then inspections are made after galvanizing and then before dispatching.

To ensure that the proper malleability has been acquired the malleability test is being performed.
Pressure test is being performed to check whether the fittings are leakproof or not.
This test is performed to check whether the fittings are properly annealed and have attained the required tensile strength and
elongation.
This test is performed to ensure that the fittings have acquired correct alignment, overall dimensions, wall thickness with the help of
suitable thread gauges and micrometers etc.

"NVR" brand Pipe Fittings can be quickly assembled with Pipe due to dimensional accuracy of threads which eliminates the necessity of any rework on threads at site, which again result as in considerable saving of time and labour cost.
