LESNA wood and wood/aluminium doors and windows are manufactured from raw materials originating from FSC certified forests and renowned suppliers. Wood surface is treated in an environment friendly way. Along with the use of super low-e glass the future looks bright - from production to end-user - for common environment.

High-quality wood is more suitable than any other material for manufacturing windows and doors. For us it is important to know from which supplier the wood that will be processed comes from. Therefore, out wood supplies always came from controlled forests, where the replanting rate is higher than felling rate.

Windows are impregnated to provide basic protection from decay and mould and finalized with a standard white colour coating RAL9010 with a total coverage of 160 microns (dry).

The thermopan glass used in manufacturing windows is transparent Float and Low-E glass, which means it is resistant to sunlight and keeps the heat inside during the winter.

tThis type of glass is 4mm thick with argon filling in the space between the glass panes, depending on whether double or triple glazed, which has higher insulation properties compared to air.

In double glazed windows with 16mm argon filling, the glass alone can reach a U - value of 1.1W/m2K, whereas the entire window reaches a U - value of 1.2 to 1.4W/m2K.

In triple glazed windows with 22 mm argon filling, the glass alone can reach a U - value of 0.74 W/m2K, whereas the entire window reaches a U - value of 1.0 to 1.24W/m2K.

Along with the outstanding insulation performance comes a proportional noise transmission reduction.

Depending on whether the windows have double or triple glazing, a noise transmission reduction of up to 30dB can be achieved.

The following types of wood are used in manufacturing windows:

The aluminum layer, which is integrated in the external side the window, is 1.5 mm thick.

When the aluminium is fixed to the window, the window width increases to 18mm ;

The standard colour of aluminium is white according to RAL9010.

This glass is 4mm thick and the space between glass panes, whether double or triple glazed, is filled with argon gas, which has higher insulation properties than air. In double glazed windows with

16mm argon filling,the window reachesa U - value of 0.84W/m2K.

In triple glazed windows with 22 mm argon filling,the window reachesa U - value of 0.66W/m2K.

Along with the outstanding insulation performance comes a proportional noise transmission reduction. Depending on whether windows have double or triple glazing, a noise transmission can be reduced up to 46dB.

Apart from few exceptions, the main profiles have gaskets inserted inside the frame. These frames have factory inserted gaskets that help to normalize the heat and reduce the outside noise.

EXTERIOR ROLLER BLINDSThis profile of roller blinds is external, which means that the blinds case is integrated outside the house.

The blinds case is made of aluminum.

The roller blinds slats are 37mm in height and 8mm in width and filled with insulators.

ENERGY EFFICIENTThe design or construction of these roller blinds, whose slats are filled with insulation, protect the rooms from sun rays and thus keep the room cool during hot summer months.

Alternatively, pulling down or closing roller blinds during the winter not only makes the room look cosier, but can actually make it warmer.

This roller blinds profile is mounted indoors, which means that the blinds case is integrated inside the house.

The blinds case is made of PVC and contrary to exterior roller blinds case; it is filled with Styrofoam to provide better thermal insulation.
