We induce porosity in each particle which inturn gives surface area for colour adsorption and providepermeability to oil to flow through.

It is low bulk density product so cover more area for decolorisation.Induced porosity in each particle provides high surface area for decolourization.Controlled particle size increases the filtration rate and minimize oil retention.

Particles are so treated such that it does not disintegrate during the process and choke thefiltration system.

Product Description

ZEOSILbleaching earth is manufactured now to cut down cost of refining and consumption

bleaching earth. The bleaching earth consumption will be reduced from 30 to 50% minimum

comparison with world-renowned top quality bleaching earths currently available in the market.

ZEOSILis a high adsorptive capacity active bleaching earth used in a wide scope of application. I

manufactured by acid activation process from high grade selected calcium based Fullers Earth mi

from our vast mines.

ZEOSIL is a fine, grayish-white powder showing a highly porous inner structure and a multitude

acid sites upon its surface.

ZEOSIL is a well suitable for the removable of compounds like chlorophyll a & b, beta-carotino

phospholipids and peroxides, via chemisorptions and acid catalysis. The bleaching earth

exceptionally good for difficult to bleach oils and fats, vegetable oil, microcrystalline wax, petrole

jelly, petroleum products etc.

ZEOSIL is very suitable for refining vegetable and animal oils and fats, moreover for furnish

and/or reprocessing numerous types of mineral oils, paraffins and waxes.

ZEOSILhas excellent bleaching efficiency on Castor Oil, Soya Bean Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Olive

Cotton seed Oil, Sunflower Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Rapeseed Oil, Mustard Oil, microcrystalline wax

Insulating Oil.

Filtration Properties :

ZEOSILshows excellent filtration performance. The filtration time(according to the standard meth

averages between 25 and 60 seconds resulting in higher output.

Chemical Analysis :

From a chemical point of view bleaching earth is hydmted silicate aluminium, which is min

logically, related to Attapulgite. In this mineral there exist a 4 to 1 proportion between silicic acid

Alumina. The Alumina component may be replaced partially by iron & magnesium. The analyse

given type of bleaching earth is of minor importance as regards its quality. The average composition

our product for instance, is as follows:

Silicium Oxide : 47.8% Aluminum Oxide : 18% Iron(III) Oxide : 1.12%

Magnesium Oxide : 3.8% Calcium Oxide : 10.1% Ignition Loss : 7.2%

Bleaching / Color Reduction :

It is essential process or adsorption, therefore when developing our bleaching earth it is our aim

furnish for each of the different types of oil a special grade of bleaching earth having a maxim

power of adsorption. As a result each grade maybe relied upon, in its particular application, to prod

the highest possible bleaching effects under condition of maximum economy as regard of consumpt

of material. The advantage of our product from an economic point of view are due to reduction in

quantity of bleaching earth required as well as to attendant reduction in the amount of oil lost in

bleaching process.

Particle Size Distribution :

Besides other method, the particle size distribution ofZEOSILis determined by a sieve analysis of

dry powder. The following average values have been found for the various mesh BSS sieve fractio

+ 100 = 2 %, + 200 = 6% to 18 % + 240 = 2% to 15 %, + 300 = 5%, to 25 %. The above parti
