Designed and manufactured to lift palletised blocks and bricks. Our Scissor Grab is also suitable for handling all types of concrete products such as slabs, steel strapped bricks, blocks, kerb stones and paving blocks.

The grab has an automatic catch mechanism that enables a single operator to stack or unstack secure loads.

The grab has galvanised top arms and load levelling arms to increase durability, the new design is now much stronger and has an increased WLL of 2500kg.

Our grab can be used with our Fork Mounting Attachment.

Fully self balancing even when unloaded, our Brick Forks have been specially designed to lift packs of bricks and pallets. The Forks are adjustable and have a frame to allow attachment of a safety net .

The load height of these forks can be adjusted from 1100mm to 1600mm by a pin system.

Safety Tip: Loose or split packs should not be lifted. All packs should be shrink wrapped or strapped. Crane forks should not be used without a restraint net.

The gas bottle carrier is a safe method of transporting gas bottles on site. Available in 4 bottle or 6 bottle sizes.

We specialise in a wide range of lifting equipment. All our equipment complies fully with: Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) and Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER).

The Man Riding Basket is used for the transport of a person or persons around site. This is especially useful for transporting to a raised area where it may not be practical or suitable to otherwise get to.

Safety Tip: Chains for access cages should not be used for any other application and should be secured directly to the cage, safety pin shackles.

Crane Skips

The Boat/Rock skip is used for the transport materials and the removal of waste materials on site. These specially designed skips allow you to load materials, transport materials and then unload materials using a tipping action.


The Column skip is designed to transport concrete and allow concrete to be poured into columns or shuttering with narrow or difficult access.


A general purpose skip which is fast and accurate in placing concrete. Easy concrete flow due to the cone shape and levered opening.

Designed to lay down when filling. When lifted the skip returns to its vertical position ready for pouring concrete.

Operator Rescue Training over 2 days

WOLFF Onsite offer a 2 day course for rope rescue solutions, designed to meet your specific requirements utilising established methods for lifting or lowering a casualty from a tower crane. Our rescue systems are currently in use on a wide variety of structures spanning many industries. Simplicity of use combined with specific training makes it easy to achieve a competent onsite rescue provision. This provides a vital link between your workforce and the emergency services.

Who should take the course?

All Personnel who may be able to offer a first response to a tower crane operator who is in need of assistance at height.

Course aim:

To provide knowledge and education in the safe use of rescue equipment. To provide competency in using the tower crane operator rescue system.

Course content:

Day 1 Work at height training & tower crane familiarisation.

Day 2 Tower crane operator rescue training.

Assessment and certification:

Delegates will complete a written questionnaire and practical ability will be continuously assessed.

Rescue Equipment

The rescue system is made up of standard rescue equipment conforming to relevant European standards. The equipment is certified for use for 3 years. When this time expires or the system is used it is sent to Heightworks for re-certification.

• The lowering bag contains all equipment necessary to extract an operative from the crane cab and lower to ground level.

• The tag line contains rope and connectors and can be used to help limit the effect of wind and obstacles to the descent.

• Stretchers can be used for enhanced casualty care. (Further training required)

LIFT PLANNING CONSULTANCY

We provide a comprehensive lift plan consultancy service, specialising in Crane Lift Plans, Method Statements and Risk Assessments for Cranes.

Under Regulation 8 of LOLER, all lifting operations require a lifting plan. Our safety consultants can assist you to survey the area to be lifted, create an appropriate plan, and provide the necessary risk assessments and method statements.

TRAINING

Lifting Operations and Lift Plan Auditing

Duration: As required

Reviewing of site lifting team, lifting operations and the site lifting plan. A report is issued giving information on criteria being met and or ways to improve to meet the minimum criteria required to comply with current regulations and standards.

Tower Crane and Lifting Awareness

Duration: 1 day

This is an introduction for site personal into tower cranes, slinging, signalling and basic lifting operations. This course can benefit all site operatives in understanding the importance of safe, planned lifting operations.

Basic Management of Lifting Operations

Duration: 1 day

This course is aimed at site management with no experience of lifting operations. The course will introduce current legislation giving an overview of the health and safety issues to consider in the management of lifting operations, in particular compliance with Regulation 8 (Organisation of Lifting Operations) under the “Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations” 1998 (LOLER), the role and responsibility of the crane hirer, lifting equipment, examination certification and guidance on the safe use of cranes.
