take the lead but the supporting band is top-
notch (including George ‘Harmonica’ Smith).
Only four tracks but each offer plenty of oppor-
tunity for the stars to shine.

SAR Recordings. Superb sides from Sam
Cooke’s younger brother including an album
never released following Sam’s death and the
closure of the SAR label, plus bonus tracks and
