Ogni prodotto La Sportiva nasce per essere unico, innovativo

ed in grado di soddisfare le esigenze degli atleti più evoluti.

Questo approccio ci ha portato negli anni a produrre soluzioni

all’avanguardia nel campo dell’arrampicata e dell’alpinismo

estremo, brevetti che hanno fatto scuola e che ancora oggi sono

alla base di molte nostre calzature: il sistema di allacciatura ideato

per Mythos negli anni ‘80, la costruzione con bordo in gomma

applicata agli scarponi da montagna a fine anni ’70, le mescole

super aderenti sviluppate per le calzature da mountain running a

fine anni ’90. Innovazioni che hanno saputo anticipare i tempi ed

evolvere il modo di vivere la montagna.

È con la stessa visione che ci siamo approcciati al settore dello sci

alpinismo, prima attraverso Stratos (2008), prodotto leggerissimo

realizzato completamente in fibra di carbonio e coperto da 4

brevetti, poi con l’introduzione di una gamma completa di attrezzi

dedicati all’utilizzatore esigente (2010) e oggi con la proposta di

una collezione completa di abbigliamento studiata in ogni minimo

dettaglio per garantire le performance più elevate agli sciatori più

ambiziosi.

Every single La Sportiva product is created to be unique,

innovative and capable of meeting the demands of the

most challenging athletes. Over the years, this approach has led

to state of the art solutions in the field of climbing and extreme

mountaineering. This runs from the introduction of our patents which

still form the basis of many of our shoes today; the lacing system

created for the Mythos boots in the 80’s; the construction method of

applying the rubber rand to hiking boots developed at the end of

the 70s’; and lastly the super sticky soles designed for the mountain

running category at the end of the 90’s. All these innovations have

anticipated the future of the climbing shoe and have enhanced

the evolution of approaching in the mountains.

In the same way, we entered the ski mountaineering sector with our

first boot Stratos in 2008. This is an extremely lightweight product

made entirely of carbon with four patents. Then in 2010 we saw

the launch of a complete range of equipment aimed at the needs

of the most demanding users. Today, we have a new collection

of clothing designed to provide ultimate comfort for the most

demanding skiers.

Le scarpette d’arrampicata La Sportiva, così come le calzature da

Mountain Running e da alpinismo estremo, sono caratterizzate da

uno stile inconfondibile, da forme riconoscibili ed immediatamente

riconducibili al nostro marchio. Nel realizzare una linea di abbigliamento

completamente nuova, abbiamo adottato lo stesso approccio: un concetto

visivo caratterizzato da elementi ricorrenti del nostro brand, al contempo

in grado di identificare il mondo ed i valori La Sportiva, e di soddisfare le

esigenze di funzionalità richieste da capi super tecnici.

Serviva un elemento differenziante, parte del DNA dell’azienda, che unisse

tradizione e modernità in uno stile unico.

Nascono così le linee stilistiche VA, da sempre inscritte nel brand

La SportiVA così come presenti nella forma del corpo umano:

la V, che racchiude la parte superiore del corpo, la A che ne definisce la

parte inferiore.

All La Sportiva boots are distinguished by their unique style, their

distinctively recognizable shapes and their corporate brand identity,

whether they are climbing shoes, mountain running shoes or extreme

mountaineering boots. We decided to adopt the same approach to our new

clothing line by choosing a distinctive visual concept that would reflect the

true nature of our brand. This concept would be strongly identified by La

Sportiva’s world and would satisfy the performance requests of the most

highly technical clothing. We needed to find a distinguishing element that

was part of the DNA of the company but also capable of uniting tradition

and modernity in one unique style.

And so the two new clothing lines V and A came to life; the V and the A

always accompany the La SportiVA brand and are synonymous with the

human body: the V represents the upper body and the A the lower body.

V and A are two visual elements capable of uniting human nature and the

La Sportiva brand in the most natural way while enhancing performance,

ergonomics, freedom of movement and distinction.

V and A: two elements in perfect harmony expressing power, movement and

identity. Two letters written in the history of our company and in the

L2: Mid Layer & Thermal layer Secondo strato: fornisce ulteriore isolamento termico in ambienti freddi favorendo la traspirazione del sudore grazie ad un’elevata traspirabilità.

This layer is in direct contact with the skin. It must therefore eliminate sweat and keep the skin dry to create optimum climatic comfort during physical activity.

This external layer protects against wind, rain and snow. It creates a barrier against the environment while guaranteeing superior breathability thanks to the use of high tech materials and membranes.

A thermal padded layer which maintains high body temperature even in extremely cold climates.

repellent finishing. A key jacket to maintain warmth in the coldest conditions.

This durable and fully waterproof product gives extreme weather protection and is

designed for the core alpinist. The two front pockets have huge storage volume with

double access (full open access on centre front - to stow things quickly and easily.

The wide underarm ventilation ensures a perfect climate regulation. Thanks to the high

collar cut and the technical hood design (with single hand regulation), the head and

face can be fully protected without any limitation of vision. The hood has been formed

so that it can be used with or without helmet. The jacket has and engineered cut,

The AVA jacket has been produced using 3-layer GORE-TEX® Pro Shell. This durable and fully waterproof product gives extreme weather protection and is designed for the core alpinist. The two front pockets have huge storage volume with double access (full open access on centre front - to stow things quickly and easily - Side access, to use the pocket as normal hand warmer pocket). The wide underarm ventilation ensures a perfect climate regulation. Thanks to the high collar cut and the technical hood design (with single hand regulation), the head and face can be fully protected without any limitation of vision. The hood has been formed so that it can be used with or without helmet. The jacket has and engineered cut, enabling it to function perfectly as an outer shell on top of an insulation layer, or indeed as single layer on its own.

The comfort fit and the articulated knee shape allows 100% freedom of movement. The waist-bib is out of stretchy and highly breathable soft shell fabric. Using the Velcro closure, it can be adjusted to the individual body shape. This pant has large pockets, full-length side zipper’s for ventilation. Use this piece as an outer layer on top of an insulation layer, or as single layer on its own.

La giacca, dai profili sciancrati e sinuosi pensati per donne dinamiche, presenta due capienti tasche frontali dotate di un doppio accesso, frontale e laterale, che possono quindi essere utilizzate sia come rapide tasche porta-oggetti, sia come scaldamani. Le aperture di ventilazione poste sotto alle braccia assicurano una perfetta regolazione climatica. This model is the result of continuing research and fine turning by La Sportiva in

collaboration with some of the finest international ski mountaineers including the winner

of the 2011 edition of the Mezzalama competition (Bon Mardion & Blanc).

The Starlet is the perfect all-round women’s specific ski mountaineering boot that is also perfectly suited for demanding ski tours. It’s comprised of a low

profile Grilamid® shell and a Grilflex® cuff and is built on a women’s specific last. Our

patent pending Fast Lock System™ consists of the unique Vertebra Technology™, a

hardwearing ergonomic power structure that works like a backbone, and the innovative

Cam Closure System™, which allows for the transition from ski to walk mode in just

sci alpinista. Ski touring, backcountry, free-ski: per ognuna di queste discipline abbiamo messo a

punto sci leggeri, veloci e sicuri, in grado di farvi raggiungere le massime performance sia in ambito

race che touring. Particolare attenzione è stata posta nel massimo contenimento del peso che

sappiamo essere elemento fondamentale per lo sci alpinista di oggi. Così come lo sono i diversi tipi

di costruzione: Camber per massima tenuta e manovrabilità su nevi compatte, Rocker per favorire

galleggiamento e divertimento su nevi polverose e fuori pista estremi.

L’utilizzo di materiali come carbonio e legno Karuba Paulownia ci permette inoltre di offrirvi sci

reattivi, flessibili e sempre performanti. Il tutto senza dimenticare l’aspetto sicurezza: ogni sci è infatti

dotato di code piatte ed un sistema di aggancio pelli (La Sportiva HiGlide) immediato e sicuro, che

Our ski line takes a no-compromises approach to ski mountaineering

performance. Whether you call it free-ski mountaineering, steep skiing, extreme skiing, or

just backcountry, the idea is still the same…long tours to access steep lines and powder

with exposure and possibly even no-fall terrain. For this reason our skis have an off-piste

focus and use ultra-lightweight Karuba Paulownia wood cores for the perfect combination

of backcountry soft snow performance and stiff flex patterns for big mountain lines where

more edge means more control. All of our skis have flat tails, which allow you to easily

plunge them into hard snow.

Tip and tail holes with removable hole plugs can be used for building anchors, assembling

a rescue sled, and also attaching our HiGlide precut skins. Counting grams here is not just

a pass time; keeping it light and getting you into and out of the mountains as quickly and

safely as possible can be the difference between success and failure.

Sistema di ancoraggio innovativo che non necessita del classico nodo di bloccaggio

e velocizza le operazioni di aggancio/sgancio in gara;

Cordini di ancoraggio paralleli 3,5 mm: facilitano l’aggancio

ed il perfetto posizionamento sullo sci;

Tirante in materiale resistente a basse temperature: facilità la presa con i guanti

e permette una miglior regolazione dell’ancoraggio;

Sistema “Race ready”: non necessita di nessuna ulteriore modifica manuale pre-gara;

Peso contenuto a 5g per pezzo.

Thanks to an innovative attachment system using the tip and tail holes on La Sportiva

skis, our climbing skins are easy to use and stay fixed to the ski. Mohair and Nylon mixed

structure skin are ideal for long days and multi-day outings requiring extra performance

and gliding qualities. The polyvalent HiGlide process combines excellent gliding performance,

HiGlide PRECUT SKINS

Sistema d’aggancio K2 Z-Clip Attachment

Facile e veloce, il sistema di aggancio Z-Clip utilizza i fori presenti sulle punte e sulle code

degli Sci La Sportiva. Permette l’inserimento rapido e sicuro delle pelli che, grazie alla pre-

sagomatura, non necessitano di essere piegate o adattate alla dimensione dello sci. Tale

accorgimento, oltre a ridurre il peso, evita la formazione di accumuli di neve nelle zone di

piegatura che si verificano solitamente su pelli con sistemi tradizionali D-rings.

K2 Tail Strap and Tail Clip

L’aggancio delle pelli alle code è facilitato da una stringa in TPU elastica e resistente e da

una clip che ne permette il veloce inserimento nel foro posteriore. Tale clip si ancora alla parte

superiore dello sci, evitando attriti con il terreno.

K2 Z-Clip Attachment

Quick and simple the Z-Clip utilizes the hole in the ski tip. This system avoids the skin fold

over required with most skins that use D-rings and top fix systems. This reduces weight and

eliminates snow buildup in the fold over, which makes the skin glue loose its adhesion to

the ski surface.

K2 Tail Strap and Tail Clip

The TPU stretchable Tail Strap and integral Tail Clip attaches to the tail hole on the topside

of the ski. This system keeps the tail clip off the snow surface eliminating drag

and increasing glide.
