BEYOND THE DESERTADVENTUROUS INSTRUCTIONS TO USE METAPHYSICS IN EVERYDAY LIFE
IGORSIBALDI
A short handbook to create your own philosophy, learning to askthe right questions and letting the answers come to you.
We all have our own philosophy of life. The best way to build it is to startfrom the top, that is, from metaphysics. Metaphysics means wondering« Why is this thing what it is? », and is simpler than you might think. There are also great metaphysical stories, like that of the Exodus tothe Promised Land, which can be read as the story of those who chooseto abandon their conformism and automatic propensity to obedience, facing the fear of change and reaching beyond the desert. There, they’llfinally find what matters the most: the courage to let one’s wishes cometrue.
Igor Sibaldi Born to a Russian mother and an Italian father, Sibaldi is ascholar of theology and religious history; he is the author of works on theScriptures and on shamanism, as well as works of fiction and drama.Since 1997 ha has been giving lectures and seminars in Italy and abroadon topics related to mythology, exegesis and depth psychology. He hastranslated several works of Russian literature (especially novels and shortstories by Tolstoy), devoting monographs and introductory essays to it.
