Cameron has a focused drilling organization which is dedicated to meetingthe changing needs of our customers. One of the ways we accomplish this is by providing total systems for land and subsea drilling including BOPstacks, complete choke manifold systems, riser systems and high technologycontrol systems.

BOP Stack Systems Cameron ram-type BOPs, annular BOPs and gate valves can meet the most basic land drilling needs as well as critical, weight sensitive, harsh environmental platform requirements. Components in Cameron’s subseaBOP stack systems, ram-type BOPs, annular BOPs, gate valves and BOP stack structures incorporate years of field-proven technology and reliability.

Choke Manifold Systems Cameron supplies all necessary components for a choke manifold includingmanual and hydraulic chokes, and H2 chokes, J-2 transmitters, pressuregauges, check valves, buffer tanks and all connecting equipment required to assemble the choke manifold. All Cameron choke manifold equipment is

designed and manufactured to provide safety, reliability and convenience tothe operator.

Riser Systems Cameron riser system components, spider/gimbal, telescoping joint, RSTring, fill-up valve, RF and RD riser joints, termination spool and flex joint aredesigned to meet the stringent requirements for drilling in deep water.

Control Systems Cameron offers a complete hydraulic control system as well as a multiplexcontrol system for subsea drilling applications. Cameron supplies all thecomponents required for choke control systems as well as all of the compo-nents used to control the BOP stack and associated equipment. For landapplications, Cameron’s pump accumulator unit and remote control panelsare designed to customer specifications. In any area of the world where Cameron drilling products are used, Cameronaftermarket and repair facilities are ready to respond with the mostcomprehensive network of aftermarket products and services available in theindustry. Each of our facilities is strategically located to meet the exact needs ofthe customers in the area. Yet all of the facilities benefit from our expertise andworldwide communications network which links all facilities through anelectronic communication system and ensures instantaneous access toinformation. Cameron aftermarket services include: total vendor management(TVM), spare parts inventory, repair refurbishment (RGR), BOP exchangeprogram, field service

Total Vendor ManagementThe TVM concept reflects a new relationship between equipment suppliers

and drilling contractors by making cost efficiency of primary importance to bothsides. The traditional seller-buyer adversarial roles are eliminated, in effectmaking the customer and supplier partners in cutting costs.

Cameron understands this process and has more experience in successfulTVM programs than anyone else in the industry. With the development of thistype of long-term agreement, Cameron and the customer work together toreduce the costs associated with the design, manufacture, delivery, installationand operation of equipment required for the drilling project. TVM contractoptions may include:• New equipment manufacture.• Field maintenance.• Off-the-shelf delivery of spare and replacement parts.• Repair and refurbishment of used and worn equipment.• Used equipment exchange program• Re-manufactured products• Inventory management and storage of customer property.

TVM is not just a repair program, It is a comprehensive package of servicesto the drilling contractor. Through TVM, Cameron customers have a way todrive down drilling costs and be more competitive. In addition, TVM providesthe customer with a single point of contact for equipment sales, repair and re-manufacturing and exchange.

Spare Parts InventoryCameron is committed to providing off-the-shelf delivery of spare parts in

any location worldwide. By using genuine Cameron replacement parts,customers are guaranteed to receive the same quality and performance as whenthe product was new. To meet these needs, Cameron has established fourworldwide stocking locations to better meet delivery requirements. Elastomersand frequently requested metal components are stocked in a temperature-controlled warehouse in Katy, Texas; Aberdeen, Scotland; Singapore and Abu Dhabi.

RGRCameron’s focus on aftermarket services includes a complete RGR program.

Cameron will repair equipment to customer specifications - fit for purpose, witha reasonable price and quick delivery. Cameron’s RGR goal is to receive theequipment and do whatever is necessary to get it back in the field as quickly aspossible. In addition, Cameron has embarked on a detailed engineering studyto take as much time and money out of our RGR processes as possible whilestill maintaining the quality customers expect from Cameron drilling products.

Cameron’s RGR program also includes the option of retrofitting BOPs withsome of the features of more current BOP designs such as bonnet seal carriers,large bore shear ram bonnets and tandem boosters.

BOP Exchange ProgramFor those customers looking for an economical alternative to buying new

equipment or in situations where a BOP cannot be removed from service for thetime required to make the repair, Cameron offers a BOP exchange program.

For this program, Cameron maintains an inventory of remanufactured BOPsthat met API 6A, 14th edition NACE MR-01-75 restored to like-new conditionwith a full one-year warranty. Customers can trade their used BOPs inexchange for a remanufactured BOP. Cameron also offers remanufacturedBOPs for sale without an exchange.

Cameron Elastomer Technology

From its Katy facility west of Houston, Texas, Cameron ElastomerTechnology provides engineered solutions to elastomeric material problems.State-of-the-art research, including associated mechanical design andengineering, is conducted at this totally integrated manufacturing facility.

The 72,000-sq-ft plant is designed to support Cameron Division's elastomercomponents and develop new products to meet the most stringent operatingand environmental conditions.

Cameron Elastomer Technology (CET) has extensive process developmentcapability supported by continuing research, a comprehensive testing laboratoryand engineering capability. These are combined to provide effective support forthe manufacturing of an extensive line of high-performance elastomer products.

CET offers molded products utilizing compression, transfer and injectionmolding techniques. Critical molded products are qualification-tested prior torelease for production.

Cold chambers and ovens are available for testing elastomers in temperatureextremes ranging from -150°F to 700°F. Precise temperature control allows forexposure of elastomer components to conditions that simulate the actual serviceenvironment.

CET's facilities provide "life prediction" and immersion testing. The life-prediction testing is based on the Arrhenius principle of thermochemicalreactions. Elevated temperatures are used to accelerate the thermochemicaldegradation of elastomer materials.

Cameron employees are experts in elastomer technology and can take anidea from the testing phase through full product development.

Today, there is a family of elastomer products specially formulated anddesigned to meet the rigorous demands of the oilfield. These products, whenused in Cameron T, U II, and U ram and D annular BOPs, improve performance,extend service life, reduce downtime, and lower operating costs.

CAMRAM™, CAMRAM 350™, CAMULAR™ and CAMLAST™ elastomershave set new standards in performance. Each is uniquely Cameron, includingdesign and manufacturing. Behind each product is the absolute commitment toquality, performance and support that the industry has come to recognize ashallmarks of Cameron.

An integral part of CET’s Katy facility is a temperature controlled elastomerwarehouse. CET manufactured elastomer products and critical drilling metalspares are readily available to meet customer requirements.

Special equipment performs high temperature evaluation of ram packers. The CET facility produces a wide variety of elastomers components.

Why CAMRAM’s Rubber Performs Better Than Conventional Packer Rubber

CAMRAM packers and top seals are designed specifically for Cameron ramBOPs. These new elastomer products from Cameron Elastomer Technology lastlonger and provide increased margins of safety in severe drilling environmentsthan do look-alike replacement parts. That’s under all conditions — hightemperatures, diesel mud and heavy stripping. CAMRAM long-life packersmean fewer problems, less downtime and better overall performance.

CAMRAM Characteristics

• Higher Temperature CapabilityCAMRAM packers made with high-temperature nitrile rubber provide a 50°Fincrease in the service temperature of the BOP in which they are used. CAMRAM packers have proven successful in 250°F sustained service and have withstood excursions to 300°F.

• Diesel Mud ResistantCAMRAM packers provide high resistance to diesel drilling muds. In fieldservice, CAMRAM packers have performed as well in high-temperature mudconditions as conventional packers perform dry at room temperature.

• Superior Stripping/Snubbing PerformanceThe superior elastomer material, in combination with the lipped-platedesign, reduce seal extrusion and wear in stripping and snubbing service.In fact, CAMRAM packers have demonstrated a stripping capability at leastthree times greater than conventional packers.

CAMRAM 350 Products

CAMRAM 350 packers and top seals are made with CAMLAST™ highperformance elastomer available exclusively from Cameron ElastomerTechnology. In addition, CAMRAM 350 packers have a patented lipped top andbottom plate design for increased service life. In addition, anti-extrusion wingshave been added to the end of the packer plates to reduce elastomer extrusion atelevated temperatures. Benefits of CAMRAM 350 include:

• CAMRAM 350 packers and top seals operate up to 350° F. Standard CAMRAM packers operate at temperature up to 250° F which is at least 50° F higher than non-OEM packers and top seals.

• CAMRAM 350 packers and top seals can operate in H2S (hydrogen sulfide) concentrations up to 20% without detrimental effects to CAMLAST elastomer performance.

• CAMRAM 350 is available for all Cameron ram-type BOPs in which standard CAMRAM is available. It is not an "off-the-shelf" item, but is readily available on short notice special orders from Cameron Elastomer Technology.

• CAMRAM 350 packers and top seals are more expensive than standard CAMRAM packers and top seals. However, this is a small price to pay for the level of performance offered by CAMRAM 350 components in critical applications.

• CAMRAM 350 packers and top seals have been in field use since 1985 when they were first used in Puckett, Mississippi to control a gas well blowout. SInce then, CAMRAM 350 components have continued to prove reliable and rugged in field service applications.

In actual field test conditions, the CAMRAM 350 16-3/4” x 5-1/2” 5000 psipipe ram packers and top seals pictured at right, were successfully used toshut-in a gas well after exposure to natural gas containing 35% H2S attemperatures of 190° for 43 days. The components show negligible damageafter exposure to the severe conditions experienced in controlling the blowout.

CAMRAM Lipped Plate Design

Cameron Elastomer Technology's elastomer experts have integrated asuperior elastomer compound into an exclusive lipped-plate packer design thatproduces "rubber in compression" at the sealing surface. The design is aCameron exclusive and gives the packers improved sealing capabilities andextended service life.

Because rubber performs best when it is under compression, Cameron'slipped-plate design provides "rubber in compression" at the wearing surface toenhance the elastomer mechanical properties as well as the seal. The lippedplate is unique because it provides stiffness in the wear direction, yet allowsample feed to the compressed rubber.

Cameron offers a wide range of ram-type BOPs to meet the dynamicneeds of the drilling industry. The Cameron U BOP was initially designedfor underwater drilling. Today, there are more U BOPs in the fieldworldwide than any other ram-type BOP in the industry. As technology andthe needs of the drilling industry changed, Cameron responded bydeveloping new ram-type BOP designs. Cameron introduced the U II BOPfor subsea applications and has since developed the T BOP and thelightweight TL and UL models for land and subsea applications.

Regardless of the model, all of the pressure containing components inCameron ram-type BOPS are forged to provide added safety and reliability.

These ram-type BOPs are just part of the complete line of Camerondrilling system products which include annular and workover preventers,gate valves, controls, subsea riser systems and land and subsea controlsystems.

U BOP

The Cameron U BOP is the most widely used ram-type BOP for land, platformand subsea applications worldwide and offers the widest range of sizes of anyCameron ram-type BOP.

Like all other Cameron preventers, the rams in the U BOP are pressure-energized. Wellbore pressure acts on the rams to increase the sealing force andmaintain the seal in case of hydraulic pressure loss. Seal integrity is actuallyimproved by increased well bore pressure.

Other features of the U BOP include:• Hydraulic stud tensioning available on larger sizes to ensure that stud

loading is consistently accurate and even.

• Bonnet seal carrier is available to eliminate the need for high makeuptorque on bonnet studs and nuts.

• Hydraulically operated locking mechanisms, wedgelocks, lock the ram hydraulically and hold the rams mechanically closed even when actuating pressure is released. The operating system can be interlocked usingsequence caps to ensure that the wedgelock is retracted before pressure isapplied to open the BOP.

• For subsea applications, a pressure balance chamber is used with thewedgelocks to eliminate the possibility of the wedgelock becoming unlockeddue to hydrostatic pressure.

Other features include hydraulically opening bonnets, forged body and awide selection of rams to meet all applications. See pages 21 through 26for rams available to fit the U BOP.

U BOP Hydraulic Control System

The U blowout preventer is designed so that hydraulic pressure opens andcloses the rams and provides the means for quick ram change-out.

Ram closing pressure closes the rams. When the bonnet bolts are removed,closing pressure opens the bonnet. After the bonnet has moved to the fullyextended position, the ram is clear of the body. An eyebolt can be installed in thetop of each ram to lift it out of the preventer.

Ram opening pressure opens the rams. Following ram change-out, thispressure closes the bonnets. The rams are pulled outward, near the bonnetsbefore the bonnets begin moving toward the preventer body. This assures thatthe rams never obstruct the bore or interfere with the pipe in the hole. Hydraulicpressure draws the bonnets tightly against the preventer body and the bonnetbolts are reinstalled to hold the bonnets closed.

The following specifications apply to typical Cameron U type BOPs. YourCameron representative can provide information on non-standard BOPassemblies.• Side outlets to 4-1/16" (7-1/16" on 26-3/4" BOPs) can be provided beneath

each set of rams on either or both sides of U BOPs. Side outlets can bestudded, open-face flange or clamp hub with the same pressure rating as thevertical run connections.

• Flanges conform to API standard 6A and/or 16A. Hubs conform to API 16Aor applicable standards. Type 6BX flanges are standard for 10,000 and15,000 psi working pressures and for 5000 psi for 13-5/8" and larger boreBOPs.

A BOP equipped with tandem boosters candeliver increased shearing force while notincreasing the wear and tear on the packers.Tandem boosters approximately double the forceavailable to shear pipe. Since the tailrod of thetandem booster has the same stroke as the BOP'soperating piston, the standard shear lockingmechanism can be installed on the outside end ofthe booster. Hang-off weights are estimated capacities with hardened top corners of thehang-off rams. This enables the rams to dig into the tool joint and providesuperior hang-off capacity while still meeting NACE requirements.

For variable bore rams (VBRs) and FLEXPACKER rams, hang-off weights upto 600,000 lbs on hang-off rams with a maximum pipe diameter of 5" areallowable.

U BOP Shearing Blind Rams

Cameron shearing blind rams shear the pipe in the hole, then bend thelower section of sheared pipe to allow the rams to close and seal. Shearingblind rams can be used as blind rams during normal drilling operations.

The DS shearing blind ram can cut larger diameter tubulars or multipletubing strings regardless of their orientation to the centerline of the ram. A bladeseal between the upper and lower faces eliminates the need for moving pipeafter shearing.

U BOP Variable Bore Rams

U BOP DSI and DVS Shear Rams

One set of Cameron variable bore rams seals on several sizes of pipe orhexagonal kelly. Variable bore rams are available in the size ranges listed in thechart below. All rams listed are suitable for H2S service per NACE MR-01-75.

CAMRAM top seals are standard for all U BOP variable bore rams.CAMRAM packers are available in most sizes. Packer part numbers beginningwith 644xxx indicate CAMRAM. All other packers are standard elastomermaterial.

The variable bore ram packer contains steel reinforcing inserts similar tothose in the Cameron annular BOP packer. The inserts rotate inward when therams are closed so the steel provides support for the rubber which seals againstthe pipe.

Dual string interlocking (DSI) shear rams and double V shear (DVS) rams arealso available for the U BOP. The interlocking feature of these rams provides thecapability of shearing wireline and braided cable with zero tension in the line,while still maintaining a seal. The blades are interlocked by using pockets in thelower ram and arms on the upper ram to prevent any gap between blade surfaces.

DSI rams are similar to standard DS shear rams except for the interlock

feature. DSI shear rams are capable of shearing tubing, small pipe, braidedcable, slickline and solid sinker bar.

DVS rams are similar in design to the standard shearing blind rams exceptthat both blades are V shaped and interlocked. The DVS rams are capable ofshearing tubing, small pipe , braided cable and slickline.

The Cameron FLEXPACKER ram is the latest development in multiple-boresealing. Each FLEXPACKER ram is designed to close and seal around severaldiameters of tubing and pipe. These packers can be used in existing CameronBOPs. Features include:• Stacks of metal inserts bonded into the elastomer, move radially in the

elastomer as the BOP rams are closed. • As rams are energized, the proper set of metal inserts is forced against the

pipe. The top plate of the packer fits the largest diameter of pipe.

Bonnet Seal Carriers for U and U II BOPs

The bonnet seal carrier is a bore-type sealing assembly which replaces theface seal used as the previous bonnet seal. Sealing capability is not dependentupon bonnet bolt torque. One seal is captured in a machined bore in the BOPbody while the other seal is captured in a machined bore in the intermediateflange.

The seal carrier was designed, developed and performance-verified for use innewly manufactured BOPs or as a replacement seal assembly for BOPs whereeither the BOP body or the intermediate flange requires weld repair on the sealingsurfaces.

Bonnet Bolt and Tensioner Part Numbers

The hydraulic bonnet bolt tensioner eliminates frictional and torsional loadsand reduces the time required for making up and breaking out bonnet bolts.• The hydraulic bonnet bolt is completely interchangeable with conventional

bonnet bolts. It has a standard hexagonal head. An additional externalthread mates with the internal threads in the operating head of the hydraulicbonnet bolt tensioner. The hydraulic bonnet bolt has its operating rodpermanently secured in the machined hole in the center of the bolt.

• The hydraulic bonnet bolt tensioner consists of a compact tensioner unitwith a remote pump.

U II BOP

The Cameron U II BOP takes all of the features of the U BOP and adapts themfor subsea use in the 18-3/4” 10,000 and 15,000 psi WP sizes.

Like all other Cameron preventers, the rams in the U II BOP are pressure-energized. Wellbore pressure acts on the rams to increase the sealing force andmaintain the seal in case of hydraulic pressure loss. Seal integrity is actuallyimproved by increased well bore pressure. Other features of the U II BOPinclude:• Internally ported hydraulic stud tensioning system ensures that stud loading

is consistently accurate and even.• Bonnet seal carrier is available to eliminate the need for high makeup torque

on bonnet studs and nuts.• Hydraulically operated locking mechanisms, wedgelocks, lock the ram

hydraulically and hold the rams mechanically closed even when actuating

pressure is released. The operating system can be interlocked usingsequence caps to ensure that the wedgelock is retracted before pressureis applied to open the BOP.

• A pressure balance chamber is used with the wedgelocks to eliminate the possibility of the wedgelock becoming unlocked due to hydrostaticpressure.Other features include hydraulically opening bonnets, forged body and a

wide selection of rams to meet all applications. See pages 31 and 32 forrams available to fit the U II BOP.

CAMRAM packers and top seals are standard for all U II BOP variable borerams. The variable bore ram packer contains steel reinforcing inserts similar tothose in the Cameron annular BOP packer. The inserts rotate inward when therams are closed so the steel provides support for the rubber which seals againstthe pipe.

Cameron shearing blind rams shear the pipe in the hole, then bend thelower section of sheared pipe to allow the rams to close and seal. Shearingblind rams can be used as blind rams during normal drilling operations.Features include of shearing blind rams include: • Large frontal area on the blade face seal reduces pressure on the rubber and

increases service life.• Cameron SBRs can cut pipe numerous times without damage to the cutting

T BOP

The Cameron T blowout preventer offers a unique combination of benefits,including safety, economy, reliability, extended service life, reduced height andfast and easy service.

Side ram removal on the T BOP permits reduced stack height and facilitateschange-out of rams and packers. Sliding the rams to the side simplifies accessand handling and reduces vertical clearance requirements.

The T BOP is available in a modular design which greatly reduces stackheight. This design is possible because the side ram removal feature of the TBOP allows for construction of a BOP stack with virtually no extra spacebetween BOP body cavities. Each BOP body or module has only a slightlyraised face and a gasket prep.

The design of the T is based on Cameron’s experience with the highly successful U and U II ram-type BOPs and combines much of this proven technology including:• Metal-to-metal bonnet gaskets increase the safety and reliability in critical

service applications.

• Hydraulic stud tensioning ensures that stud loading is consistently accurateand even.

• Hydraulically operated locking mechanisms, ST locks, act directly on theoperating piston tailrod and are interlocked by sequence caps to ensure thatlocks are opened before the BOP is opened.

• Bonnet studs instead of bonnet bolts reduce the need to make and breakthreads in the BOP body.

• Most operating system seals can be replaced with the bonnet in the ram-change position without removing the bonnets.

• The standard T BOP has a large enough piston area to shear all commonlyused sizes and grades of drill pipe.Other features include hydraulically opening bonnets, forged body and

a wide selection of rams to meet all applications. See pages 40 and 41 forrams available to fit the T BOP.

T BOP Hydraulic Control System

The T blowout preventer is designed so that hydraulic pressure opens andcloses the rams and provides a means for side ram removal.

Ram opening pressure, shown in blue on the illustration, opens the rams andcloses the bonnets after ram change-out. The rams are pulled outward, close tothe bonnets before the bonnets begin moving toward the preventer body. Thisassures that the rams never obstruct the bore or interfere with pipe in the hole.Hydraulic pressure draws the bonnets tightly against the preventer body and thebonnet studs are hydraulically tensioned to hold the bonnets closed. Ramopening pressure is also used to automatically unlock the ST locks.

Ram closing pressure, shown in the red on the illustration, closes the rams.When the bonnet nuts are released, closing pressure opens the bonnet. Whenthe bonnet has moved to the fully extended position, a ram removal tray isinserted and ram opening pressure brings the rams into the clear for removal.ST locks are locked by applying pressure, shown in green on the illustration, tothe ST-lock lock port. This pressure wedges a piston-like assembly into positionto ensure that the rams are locked in the closed position. An option is availablewhere the locks are also locked automatically by installing a sequence valve inthe system.

CAMRAM packers and top seals are standard for all T BOP variable bore rams.The variable bore ram packer contains steel reinforcing inserts similar to those inthe Cameron annular BOP packer. The inserts rotate inward when the rams areclosed so the steel provides support for the rubber which seals against the pipe.

TL BOP

The Cameron TL blowout preventer is designed to meet the demand for alightweight BOP for offshore and subsea applications. By eliminating separatebonnets and intermediate flanges, the weight of the TL has been reduced by asmuch as 30% compared to similar models. This is particularly advantageouson offshore platforms where weight is critical. By converting to a TL system, anoperator can drill the entire well with one BOP stack replacing the old two-stacksystem.

The design of the TL is based on experience with the U II and T BOPs andcombines much of this field-proven technology including:• Side ram removal and wear pads on the bottoms of the rams.• Bonnet seal carrier which eliminates the need for high makeup torque on

bonnet studs and nuts.• Bonnet studs instead of bonnet bolts to reduce the need to make and

break threads in the BOP body.• Most operating system seals can be replaced with the bonnet in the ram-

change position without removing the bonnets.• 18-3/4” 5000 and 10,000 TL BOPs are fitted with hydraulically operating

locking mechanisms, wedgelocks, which lock the ram hydraulically and hold the rams mechanically closed even when actuating pressure is released. The operating system can be interlocked using sequence caps to ensure that the wedgelock is retracted before pressure is applied to open the BOP.

• 18-3/4” 15,000 TL BOPs utilize ST locks which are hydraulically operated and act directly on the operating piston tailrod and are interlocked by sequence caps to ensure that locks are opened before the BOP is opened.Other features include hydraulically opening bonnets, forged body and a

wide selection of rams to meet all applications.

TL BOP RamsRams available for the 5000 and 10,000 psi TL BOP include standard pipe

rams as well as Cameron Flexpackers in 5” to 7” and 2-7/8” to 5” pipe sizes. Also, a DVS shear ram was developed for the TL BOP. The DVS shear ram

is similar to a Cameron shearing blind ram and has two “V” blades for moreeffective shearing. During testing, these rams sheared 6-5/8”, 27.6 lb per foot,S-135 pipe with 2200 psi closing pressure.

The 15,000 psi TL BOP uses the same field proven rams as the 18-3/4”15,000 psi T BOP.

DL Annular Blowout Preventer

In the unique design of the Cameron DL annular BOP, closing pressureforces the operating piston and pusher plate upward to displace the solidelastomer donut and force the packer to close inward. As the packer closes,steel reinforcing inserts rotate inward to form a continuous support ring of steelat the top and bottom of the packer. The inserts remain in contact with eachother whether the packer is open, closed on pipe or closed on open hole. Otherfeatures of the DL BOP include:• The Cameron DL BOP is shorter in height than comparable annular

preventers.• A quick-release top with a one-piece split lock ring permits quick packer

change-out with no loose parts involved. The design also provides visualindication of whether the top is locked or unlocked.

• The DL BOP is designed to simplify field maintenance. Components subjectto wear are field-replaceable and the entire operating system may beremoved in the field for immediate change-out without removing the BOPfrom the stack.

• Twin seals separated by a vented chamber positively isolate the BOPoperating system from well bore pressure. High strength polymer bearingrings prevent metal-to-metal contact and reduce wear between all movingparts of the operating systems.

• All Cameron DL BOPs are manufactured to comply with NACE specification MR-01-75 for H2S service.

• Packers for DL BOPs have the capacity to strip pipe as well as close and sealon almost any size or shape object that will fit into the wellbore. Thesepackers will also close and seal on open hole. Some annular packers canalso be split for installation while pipe is in the hole. Popular sizes of theDL BOP are available with high-performance CAMULAR™ annular packingsubassemblies. See page 50 for information on high temperatureCAMULAR products.The Cameron DL BOP is available in sizes from 7-1/16” to 21-1/4” and in

working pressures from 2000 to 20,000 psi.

For popular size D and DL BOPs, a BOP replacement part kit is available toprovide all seals, bearings and scrapers required during normal maintenance.

Kit parts are shrink-film packed to prevent loss and assure long shelf life andare less expensive than individual parts. All parts in each kit are identified withpart numbers and parts list index numbers.

As an optional replacement for the standard lip seal design, a D-shaped sealis available for service in annular BOPs that have pitted, corroded or oversizedseal grooves. To enhance the performance life of the used annular BOP, this seal

design will fill most voids created from excessive wear and tear to the sealgroove. Seal kits have been created which include all the operating system sealsfor the annular BOPs listed below.

S/QRC and G-2 Snubbing BOPs

The Cameron S/QRC and G-2 snubbing blowout preventers are used in wellworkover and servicing operations. S/QRCs are ram-type preventers whichmaintain pressure control for all types of workover wells. The Cameron G-2 BOPis suitable for wells requiring a 4-1/16" 5000 or 10,000 psi or 7-1/16" 5000 psisnubbing preventer.

S/QRC and G-2 BOP RamsCameron S/QRC and G-2 snubbing BOPs can be equipped with the proper

rams to perform a full range of snubbing preventer operations.Four types of ram bodies are available for the 4-1/16" 10,000, 15,000 and

25,000 psi S/QRC and 4-1/16" 5000 and 10,000 psi G-2 BOPs. These includeblind, pipe, shear and wireline rams. Pipe rams can be fitted with safety packers,wear insert packers or slip inserts. Blind and pipe rams are available for allsizes. Features include:

• Safety packers seal around tubing in the well bore. Tubing can be stripped orsnubbed through these packers, if necessary.

• Wear insert packers are for stripping and snubbing service. Thesesubassemblies have a wear insert which can be easily replaced to renew thepacker.

• Slip inserts are used to hold the tubing string after shearing or duringworkover operations by supporting upward and downward forces as well astorsional forces.

• Wireline ram guides have hardened steel guiding surfaces and arereplaceable.

• No special operating system is required for shearing.• All S/QRC and G-2 rams are suited for H2S service per NACE MR-01-75.

Sales Offices

1. CONTRACT ACCEPTANCE:Any written or oral purchase order received from Buyer by Cooper Cameron Corporation, CameronDivision and Cooper Cameron Valves (“Seller”) shall be construed as a written acceptance of Seller’s offerto sell and shall be filled in accordance with the terms and conditions of sale set forth herein. SELLER’SACCEPTANCE OF THIS ORDER IS EXPRESSLY CONDITIONED ON BUYER’S ASSENT TO THE TERMS CON-TAINED HEREIN. The terms and conditions of Seller’s proposal (if any) and acknowledgement shall prevailover any conflicting or different terms in Buyer’s order unless Buyer notifies Seller in writing of its objec-tions thereto within fifteen (15) days from receipt of Seller’s acknowledgement. Buyer’s standard terms ofpurchase will not be considered a counteroffer to Seller’s terms and conditions of sale. The failure of Sellerto object to any provision in conflict herewith whether contained on Buyer’s purchase order or otherwiseshall not be construed as a waiver of the provisions hereof nor as an acceptance thereof.

2. QUOTATIONS AND PRICES:All quotations are made for prompt acceptance and any terms quoted therein are subject to change without noticeafter thirty (30) days from the date quoted unless specifically stated otherwise on the quotation. Any product, ser-vice capability or manufacturing capability which may be available at the time a quotation is made is subject toprior sale. Prices quoted are valid for thirty (30) days unless specifically stated otherwise on the quotation and aresubject to change without notice. The price in effect at the time of shipment including any escalation formula willapply, unless a valid quotation or written agreement to the contrary exists between Buyer and Seller. All pricesshown are in U.S. dollars and are F.O.B. Seller s shipping point. Any documentation pertaining to traceabilityrequirements for raw materials or products or documentation required for any routine or special processes must beidentified by the Buyer at the time of quotation (if any) or at the time of order placement.

3. TAXES:Any tax or other charge imposed by law on the sale or production of goods or the performance of services shallbe paid by the Buyer, unless the law specifically provides that such payment must be made by Seller, in which caseBuyer shall reimburse Seller for such payment as part of the purchase price. Custom duties, consular fees, insur-ance charges and other comparable charges will be borne by Buyer.

4. SHIPPING SCHEDULE AND DELIVERY:Shipment schedules are given as accurately as conditions permit and every effort will be made to make shipmentsas scheduled. Seller will not be responsible for deviations in meeting shipping schedules nor for any losses or dam-ages to Buyer (or any third party) occasioned by deviations in the shipping schedule, whether due to Acts of God,orders bearing priority ratings established pursuant to law, differences with workmen, local labor shortages, fire,flood, shortages or failure of raw materials, supplies, fuel, power or transportation, breakdown of equipment orany other causes beyond Seller’s reasonable control, whether of similar or dissimilar nature than those enumerat-ed. Seller shall have additional time within which to perform as may be reasonably necessary under the circum-stances and shall have the right to apportion its production among its customers in such a manner as it may con-sider to be equitable. Seller reserves the right to furnish commercially equivalent or better substitutes for materialsor to subcontract the Buyer’s order or portions thereof as Seller deems necessary. In no event shall Seller be liablefor any consequential damages for labor resulting from failure or delay in shipment. If Buyer requires drawings, pro-cedures, standards or similar material for approval, shipping schedules will be calculated from the time suchapprovals are received by Seller, since shipping schedules are based on Seller having all required information and afirm order from Buyer which is enterable into production. Any hold points, witness points or the need for inspec-tion by Buyer’s representatives must be identified by Buyer at the time of quotation (if any) and/or order placementin order that the effect on the prices or shipping schedules (if any) can be taken into account. Additional inspec-tion or testing required by Buyer which affects normal production sequence will be considered as extending theshipping dates accordingly.

5. MINIMUM BILLING:Seller reserves the right to impose a minimum billing charge on all sales, change orders or order supplements.

6. TERMS OF PAYMENT:Terms of payment for all materials and service are 30 days from invoice date, at net price, provided satisfactorycredit has been established. All unpaid invoices are subject to the maximum legal interest rate per annum com-mencing with the due date.

7. CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS:Purchase orders once placed by Buyer and accepted by Seller can be canceled only with Seller’s written consentand upon terms which will save Seller from loss. No products may be returned for credit or adjustment withoutwritten permission from Seller’s office authorized to issue such permission.

8. WARRANTIES:All products of Seller’s manufacture are warranted against defects of material and workmanship for a period oftwelve (12) months from the date of installation or eighteen (18) months from date of shipment, whichever peri-od first expires, when such products are used in the service and within the pressure range for which they weremanufactured. In the case of products or parts not wholly of Seller’s manufacture, Seller’s liability shall be limitedto the extent of its recovery from the manufacturer of such products or parts under its liability to Seller.

Any repair work performed by Seller is warranted for one year from completion of such repairs and applies onlyto work performed.

If, within these specified periods, Seller receives notice from Buyer of any alleged defect in or nonconformanceof any product or repair and if in the Seller’s sole judgment the product or repair does not conform or is found tobe defective in material or workmanship, then, Buyer shall, at Seller’s request, return the part or product F.O.B. toSeller’s designated plant or service location. Seller, at its option and expense, shall repair or replace the defectivepart or product, or repay to Buyer the full price paid by Buyer for such defective part, repair or product. Any repay-ment of purchase price shall be without interest.

Seller’s warranty liability, including defects caused by Seller’s negligence, shall be limited to such repair, replace-ment or refund, and shall not include claims for labor costs, expenses of Buyer resulting from such defects, recov-ery under general tort law or strict liability or for damages resulting from delays, loss of use, or other direct, indi-rect, incidental or consequential damages of any kind. Seller will not be responsible for failures of products whichhave been in any way tampered with or altered by anyone other than an authorized representative of Seller, fail-ures due to lack of compliance with recommended maintenance procedures or products which have been repairedor altered in such a way (in Seller s judgment) as to affect the products adversely. THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLYIN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, STATUTORY OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF MER-CHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE WHICH EXCEED THE FOREGOING WARRANTY.

9. NUCLEAR SALES:The products sold hereunder are not designed or manufactured for use in or with any atomic installation or activ-ity. If the Buyer or ultimate user of these products intends to use them in such an installation or activity, Seller’sNuclear Terms of Sale shall be part of and control this contract. Seller will furnish Buyer with a copy of its NuclearTerms of Sale upon request.

10. PATENT INFRINGEMENT:Seller warrants that the use or sale of material or apparatus sold or rented by it to Buyer hereunder will not infringeUnited States’ patents of others covering such material or apparatus by itself, and hereby agrees to indemnify Buyeragainst judgment for damages for such infringement of any such patent, provided that Buyer shall, upon receiptof any claim for infringement of any such patent or threat of suit for such infringement or upon the filing of anysuit for infringement, whichever comes first, promptly notify Seller in writing and afford Seller full opportunity, at

its option and its own expense, to answer such claim or threat of suit, assume the control of the defense of saidsuit, and settle or compromise same in any way Seller sees fit. Other than court-awarded judgments as aforesaidSeller shall not be liable for any delays, loss of use or for other direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damagesincurred by reason of any such judgment. Seller does not warrant that such material or apparatus (a) will notinfringe any such patent when not manufactured by or for Seller or when specially made in whole or in part to theBuyer’s design specification and such infringement arises from the inclusion of such specified design or (b), if usedor sold in combination with other material or apparatus, or if used in the practice of a process, will not, as a resultof such combination or use, infringe any patent covering such combination or process; and Seller shall not be liablefor and does not indemnify Buyer for damages or losses of any nature whatsoever resulting from actual or allegedpatent infringement arising pursuant to (a) or (b) above.

11. SELLER’S RIGHT TO MANUFACTURE:Seller in its sole discretion shall have the right to manufacture the products provided hereunder as far in advanceof its estimated shipping schedule as it deems appropriate. Seller expressly reserves the right to change or modifythe design and construction of any product in due course of Seller’s manufacturing procedure without incurringany obligation or liability to furnish or install such changes, modifications or improvements to products previouslyor subsequently sold.

12. ENGINEERING AND SERVICE:Upon request, Seller will provide engineering and/or technical information regarding its products and their usesand, if feasible, will provide personnel to assist Buyer in effecting field installations and/or field service. Any suchinformation, service or assistance so provided, whether with or without charge, shall be advisory only. In thatregard, neither Seller nor Buyer assumes any liability for the acts or omissions of the other party except as may beprovided in these terms.

13. LABOR STANDARDS:Seller hereby certifies that these products were produced in accordance with all applicable requirements of Section6, 7 and 12 of the Fair Labor Standards Act as amended and of regulations and orders of the United StatesDepartment of Labor issued under Section 14 thereof.

14. INSPECTION:Unless otherwise agreed in writing, final inspection and acceptance of products must be made at Seller’s plant orother shipping or receiving point designated by Seller and shall be conclusive except as regards latent defects.Buyer’s representatives may inspect at the Seller’s plant or shipping point during working hours prior to shipmentin such manner as will not interfere with operations.

15. TITLE:Title to the products sold hereunder passes to Buyer upon payment of the full purchase price.

16. TRANSPORTATION CHARGES, ALLOWANCES, CLAIMS:All prices are F.O.B. Seller’s plant or other designated shipping point.

No freight is allowed unless stated in Seller’s quotation (if any) or in a written contract which may exist betweenSeller and Buyer at the time of shipment. If Seller’s quotation or a written contract states that all or a portion offreight is allowed, all prices are F.O B. Seller’s plant or other designated shipping point, with most economical sur-face transportation allowed. If the quoted or contractual price includes transportation, Seller reserves the right todesignate the common carrier and to ship in the manner it deems most economical. Added costs due to specialrouting requested by the Buyer are chargeable to the Buyer. Under no circumstances is any freight allowance whichis absorbed by Seller to be deducted from the selling price. If the quoted price or contract includes transportation,no deduction will be made in lieu thereof whether Buyer accepts shipment at plant, warehouse, freight station, orotherwise supplies its own transportation. When sales are made from the Seller’s warehouse, Seller reserves theright to charge either actual or pro-rated freight from Seller’s principle point of manufacture to Seller’s warehouse.Buyer assumes risk of loss upon delivery to the carrier, regardless of who pays shipping costs.

Seller endeavors to pack or prepare all shipments so that they will not break, rust or deteriorate in transit, butdoes not guarantee against such damage. Unless requested in writing by the Buyer, no shipments are insured bySeller against damage or loss in transit. Seller will place insurance as nearly as possible in accordance with Buyer’swritten instructions but in such case Seller acts only as agent between the insurance company and the Buyer andassumes no liability whatsoever.Any claims for shipping loss, breakage or damage (obvious or concealed) are Buyer’s responsibility and should be

made to the carrier. All claims regarding shortages must be made within thirty (30) days from receipt of shipmentand must be accompanied by the packing list(s) covering the shipment.

17. CONSULAR INVOICES:Consular fees for legalizing invoices, stamping bills of lading, or other documents required by the laws of any coun-try or destination are not included in quotations or selling prices. If instructed in writing, Seller will make arrange-ments for consular documents and declarations as agent of the Buyer, but Seller assumes no liability whatsoeveras a result of making such arrangements. Seller assumes no responsibility for any fines or other charges imposeddue to errors or incorrect declarations.

18. INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: A. INDEMNIFICATION:

Seller agrees to indemnify Buyer and hold Buyer harmless against any claims, demands or causes of action for prop-erty damage or personal injury (including death) caused by the negligent act or omission of any employee, agentor subcontractor of Seller and not contributed to by the negligence of Buyer, its employees, its agents or any thirdparty. Seller shall not be responsible for the acts and workmanship of employees, agents, contractors or subcon-tractors of Buyer or any third party, nor for failure or malfunction of any tools, materials, equipment, products, sup-plies, facilities or devices not manufactured and supplied by Seller. Buyer agrees to hold Seller harmless from anyand all losses, claims, or damages arising from subsurface damage, surface damage caused by subsurface damage,loss of hydrocarbons and from pollution, regardless of whether such damages, losses or claims were caused by thenegligence or sole negligence of Seller, it being the intent of the parties that this indemnity shall apply to proper-ty of Buyer or to that of any third party.

B. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL SELLER BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAM-AGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF ANTICIPATED PROFITS, LOSS OF USE OF EQUIPMENT OR OFANY INSTALLATION, SYSTEM OR FACILITY INTO WHICH SELLER’S EQUIPMENT MAY BE LOCATED OR AT WHICHSELLER, ITS AGENT OR SUBCONTRACTOR MAY BE PERFORMING WORK. Seller’s total responsibility for any claims,damages, losses or liabilities arising out of or related to its performance of this contract or the products or servicescovered hereunder shall not exceed the purchase price.

19. MODIFICATION, RESCISSION & WAIVER:The terms herein may not be modified or rescinded nor any of its provisions waived unless such modification, rescis-sion or waiver is in writing and signed by an authorized employee of Seller at its office in Houston, Texas.

Failure of Seller to insist in any one or more instances upon the performance of any of the terms and conditionsof the contract or the failure of Seller to exercise any of its rights hereunder shall not be construed as a waiver orrelinquishment of any such term, condition, or right hereunder and shall not affect Seller’s right to insist upon strictperformance and compliance with regard to any unexecuted portions of this contract or future performance ofthese terms and conditions.

All orders must be accepted by an authorized employee of Seller. The rights and duties of the parties and con-struction and effect of all provisions hereof shall be governed by and construed according to the internal laws ofthe State of Texas. Any disputes which arise under this agreement shall be venued in the District Court of HarrisCounty, Texas or in the Southern District of Texas.
