Labels and what they mean to you.

FLAMMABLE - Any material whether solid, liquid, vapor, or gaswhich ignites easily and burns quickly. A flammable liquid will havea flash point below 100F (38C). All Flammables are combustiblebut not all combustibles are flammable.

CORROSIVE: A chemical that aggressively attacks metal or thatburns and destroys living tissue like skin, lungs or the stomachwhen it touches it. Examples are nitric acid, sulfuric acid, sodiumhydroxide, chlorine and hydrochloric acid.

OXIDIZER: The DOT defines an oxidizer as a substance that yieldsoxygen readily to stimulate the combustion of organic matter.Oxidizers are significant hazards in a fire situation. Unprotectedcontact with oxidizers causes chemical burns.

Acidic DetergentsName Description

K-BRITE 100K-BRITE 100 is a liquid, high foaming, acidic cleaner-descaler which issuitable for use in food processing and dairy plants where a heavy-duty, high-foaming acid cleaner is needed.

K-BRITE 220K-BRITE 220 is a liquid foaming, acidic cleaner-descaler which is suitable foruse in food processing and dairy plants where a heavy-duty, foaming acidcleaner is needed. For manual cleaning or use in mechanical cleaning

K-BRITE 330K-BRITE 330 is a penetration soil removal, rapid rinsing. Chemical mattersenable K-BRITE 330 to work on protein scale and other tough scaledeposits. It also makes an excellent hand acid descaler.

CHLORINATED CIP POWDERCHLORINATED CIP POWDER is a formulated heavy-duty chlorinatedcirculation cleaner of high alkalinity. This product is designed to removeheavy-duty soil deposits form cookers, processors, kettles, hot product lines,ham molds and loaf molds. An excellent product for boiling out kettles, pipesand parts. This product, when properly used, will generally eliminate theneed of daily acid usage.

CLEANER CHLOR SF PLUSCLEANER CHLOR SF PLUS is an alkaline, chlorinated, self-foaming cleanerfor use in meat packing plants, bakeries and other food plants. K-FOAM SF PLUSK-FOAM SF PLUS is an alkaline, chlorinated, self-foaming cleaner for use in

meat packing plants, bakeries and other food plants. These characteristicscombined in a single package offer economy and convenience advantages.K-FOAM SF PLUS can be applied mechanically or manually.

LIQUA KLOR CIPLIQUA KLOR CIP is a low-foaming liquid CIP cleaner containing caustic andchlorine. Formulated for the in-place cleaning of dairy and meat processingequipment, it eliminates the need of daily acid cleaning. It is acceptable foruse in meat and poultry plants. This product is designed for use in liquidfeeding systems for proper control and ease of handling.

Alkaline DetergentsName Description

HY-ALKHY-ALK is a very high alkaline type cleaner, especially formulated to cleanfrying and cooking equipment. It has a very high level of cleaning ability andgives excellent results in cleaning heavily cooked-on soils. HY-ALK isespecially effective for C.I.P. cleaning of high temperature, air impingementovens.

K-HYDROXYK-HYDROXY heavy-duty alkaline cleaner is designed to remove burned-oncarbon and other baked-on food soils. It is effective in removing oils, grease,and proteinaceous deposits commonly found throughout the food industry. Itcan be used in central cleaning systems, soaking operations, and immersiontanks. It can be used for boilout with foam and gel, and in recirculatingsystems of breweries, dairies, bakeries, meat, poultry, canning, and otherfood plants.

K-KLEEN 1000K-KLEEN 1000 is a liquid, heavy duty, highly alkaline smokehouse cleanerdesigned to clean grease and carbon buildup from floors and walls ofsmokehouses as well as provide excellent cleaning of fans and duct work. K-KLEEN 1000 contains inorganic builders and sequestrants to furnishalkalinity, deflocculation, soil suspension, emulsification and chelation. Thesurfactant system was designed to achieve wetting, emulsification anddetergency. Emphasis has been placed on rapid emulsification, a desirableproperty when cleaning smokehouses. K-KLEEN 1000 is completelybiodegradable and poses no pollution problems.

Name Description

BAC-OFFBAC-OFF is amber colored germicidal hand soap, authorized by USDA foruse in federally inspected meat and poultry plants. This product is iodine typegermicidal hand soap, without the dark staining properties of the usual iodineproduct. Small amounts of this hand soap still produce sanitizing propertiesand leaves emollients feel to the hands.

HAND-SANHAND-SAN hand soap is an effective sanitizing hand soap, which has beenauthorized by USDA for use in federally, inspected meat and poultryprocessing plants. It is also recommended for use in food processing plantsand restaurants by personnel prior to handling food and/or food processingequipment.

K-SAN 125K-SAN 125 is an economical and effective liquid sanitizer containing 12.5%

hypochlorite solution. For sanitizing applications in food processing, milkindustry, farm premises and laundry facilities. Approved as a sanitizer onfood surfaces with no rinse, USDA designation D2.

LIQUID LAUNDRY BOOSTERLIQUID LAUNDRY BOOSTER is a clear liquid blend of heavyduty alkaline builders, sequestering agents and soil-suspending agents. RCC-100RCC-100 is a granular, moderate foaming, heavy duty, detergent containingoptical brighteners and soil suspension ingredients. This product is anexcellent detergent when used as directed and provides good cleaning, evenin hard water.

SOF-TOUCHSOF-TOUCH FABRIC SOFTENER is a concentrated, highly effective laundry

softener, ideal for a wide variety of fabrics. Used properly, SOF-TOUCHreduces static cling and wrinkling. Due to SOF-TOUCH'S incorporation ofthe latest chemical advances in laundry technology, treated fabrics areespecially noted for their softness and fluffiness and also for their excellentrewettability.

SanitizersName Description

CK LF ACID SANITIZERCK LF ACID SANITIZER is a concentrated, non-foaming acid sanitizer forC.I.P., C.O.P. and non-circulation applications. CK LF ACID SANITIZER hasreduced phosphates due to its unique blended acid formula. CK LF ACID

SANITIZER provides effective germicidal action on a broad range ofmicroorganisms including gram positive and gram negative bacteria. CK LFACID SANITIZER's 1 ounce to 6 gallon use rate provides a low pH thatinsures rapid bacterial action while removing water scale and mineral build-up. CK LF ACID SANITIZER leaves equipment surfaces in an acidic rangewhich lengthens life of stainless steel parts.

DICA-QUATDICA QUAT is a concentrated germicide for use in food processing plants. Itis composed of anionic surface-active agents and phosphoric acid to providestrong germicidal action against a broad range of microorganisms includinggram positive and gram-negative bacteria. DICA QUAT usage rate of just 1ounce to 5 gallons of water provides a low pH that insures rapid bacterial kill

while also removing water scale and other mineral buildup. DICA QUAT willleave stainless steel bright and shining.

DI-SAN DFDI-SAN DF is a liquid, mildly acidic, non-foaming iodophor. It is scientificallyblended to give quick, positive wetting, yet rapid "drain-off." It is equallyeffective in hot or cold, hard or soft water. DI-SAN DF has potent sanitizingproperties without the need of heat because of its high content ofbacteriological active iodine. DI-SAN DF is phosphate free.

K-QUAT 4K-QUAT 4 is a four chain liquid quaternary disinfectant sanitizer with 7.5%active ingredients. The inclusion of four quats in this product providesexcellent killing properties at a lower use concentration. Recommended forsanitizing all food contact surfaces (no rinse required when used according tolabel directions). Product is effective at 1 ounce of product per four gallons ofwater (150 ppm).

K-SANK-SAN is stable chlorine with 6% available chlorine (minimum) and may be

used for sanitizing and water chlorination. K-SAN is EPA and USDAapproved for use in food processing plants.
