Porthcurno Telegraph Museum is a family-friendly attraction set in WW2 tunnels next to beautiful Porthcurno beach. From Victorian times this little village was the hub of communications throughout the British Empire becoming the largest and most important telegraph cable station by World War 2. Discover how the telegraph changed the world we live in and how the secret bomb and gas-proof tunnels protected vital wartime communications.

Open every day 1 April – 5 November. All other times, Sundays and Mondays.

Open 10am – 5pm. Wednesday late opening to 7:30pm between 11 July – 29 August.

Last entry 1 hour before closing.

The tour is unsuitable for those in wheelchairs. Open backed and high heeled shoes are NOT permitted on the Mine Tour. Dogs on leads welcome on site but not on the Mine Tour.

Ghost ToursCandle lit evening mine tours led by a paranormal investigator by prior booking. Tuesdays & Thursdays during April, July and August.
