Vaishyas included cattle rearing and other pastoral tasks, productive labor, agriculture and trade

SHUDRA, LABOUR. the Shudra perform functions of serving the other three varna( three rolls.)

ANCIENT INDIA CASTE• There sons and daughters followed in

there parents foot steps, and they followed there parents and it goes on and on.

• They were not allowed to change there position in the roll. For example; if they didn’t like their job, they can’t change it.

• In India, the caste system is a system of division of labour and power in human society.

Caste main part 1. Before people could not change their

caste. In the early stages, the Aryan’s caste was

not hereditary because in there caste people could change their caste, for example if warrior could become a Brahmin.

As time went by quickly, the Indian caste became rigid, so that means people had no way to make their situation better or you just had to lucky.

Ancient India Brahmins

Brahman refers to the Supreme Self he usually meditates most of the time and he gives good advice.

Brahmins are also teacher in ancient times.

He was also considered an avatar of Vishnu,( supreme god of all gods.)

They really believe in there religious more than anyone else.

Ancient India KSHATRIYA

Traditionally Kshatriya constitute the military and ruling elite of the Vedic-Hindu social system simply meaning army.

This is the India’s most smart and brave warrior. Veer Shiva ji.

Vaish They are mostly farmers, traders, and

businessmen. I think they also barter people to buy

their stuff, or products.

SUDRA Sudra – landowners. Near the untouchables. Are essentially rural labors. Serve the higher ranks. Not allowed to enter Hindu temples. Commonly are self employed farmers. They are also untouchables. They are also not allowed to listen to ancient

Indian music, if they do they will get scented sticks in their ears( my dad told me this.)

UNTOUCHABLES

People are not allowed to touch them. Lowest part of the four ranks. You could have bad luck(maybe.) You also have no hope of changing

your situation.

Modern India Now in India, people in the city don’t

follow the ancient caste system because they are more educated so they can move up and improve them selves. In the rural areas, people aren't that educated, so that means they still follow the old caste system and what their families do.

JUDGES, CAPTAINS, AND

BASICLY GOOD ROLE MODELS. Are the highest rank of all other ranks. Some are major of the army. Captain of the sea. Judge of the court or citizenship.

MAJORS.

Army, warriors, and pilots.

They are commanded by their major. They are mostly fighters and defenders

of their countries.

Farmers and merchants Farmers are a bit at the top because

they have more responsibility, to grow food and give it to the stores.

After when the farmers give the food it comes to the merchants which they sell for money. And, farmers take money from merchant(s).

Craftspeople Crafts people make mood works and

artist edit there work so their pretty close to the outcastes because they're not that educated.

Outcastes Outcastes are mostly people that do

labor and they are not that educated. They also do work for other people. They are sometimes in rural areas and

do labor work.

JUDGES LIFE

There was a guy and his amazing caste was, guess it, it is judges. His life was outstanding because he could live in a large house and he is well respected.

WARRIORS, ARMY, AND PILOTS. Once there was a guy. And he was in the

army. He has a wife, son, and a daughter. He mostly stays away from his family because he has a lot of duties, for example he has to make sure that his army fellows has safe so as their countries. He also has to keep up to date about their weapons and make sure they work smoothly. And if they attacked he has to risk his life to save the country.

FARMERS, AND MERCHANTS.

A guy’s life would okay in farmers, and merchants because they only have to get people to buy there products. And they also buy stuff off other people. They just stay in their shop and bargain people to buy their products. If you where a farmer you would have to stay in the cold or hot and spend about 4-5 h in the worst or okay weather. If you where a merchant you would have to spend about 8-10 h in your shop.

Craftspeople If you were a crafts person you would

have to spend precious time making furniture and lumber. It would be hard because what if you get little piece of wood in your hand, OUCH!!. That would hurt. He would a rough time.

OUTCASTES STORY There was a guy, his caste was outcaste .

So that means he lived in rural areas, and believed in the caste system. He was not educated, but he was partly educated. His life was pretty hard because he had to do a lot of labor work. He could only manage to do labor because his family was from the same caste as he is. The type stuff he did was he would ask for money and he was also homeless.

1. QUESTION?? If we had a caste system it would make

your life easier because we don’t have to find a job, and we would have the income each month. You don’t have to worry about your pay check.

2. QUESTION The caste system would make your life

harder because we can’t chose the job we loved so much. Unfortunately you have to stick with the job you get. Too bad too sad. And you get what you get and you don’t get upset.
