The bus does not run on the following holidays:

Christmas Day (December 25th) When a trip requires more than one bus route, passengers can transfer from one route to another. Transfers are free and can only be used for an immedi-ate transfer. Passengers that are intoxicated may be asked to exit the bus and/or be arrested. Please see our website for full ASSIST/The Liuk rules and policies.

Any person who rides on-board a bus operated by the CIty of Casper Link or ASSIST is deemed to have accepted the normal

risks that may be encountered when traveling on board a public vehicle. Drivers are trained to operate in a safe and

professional manner at all times. Passengers are reminded that sudden stops may occur without warning . Using the seatbelts

will assist passengers if this should occur.

For a safe and enjoyable trip as a passenger on The Link & ASSIST, I agree to:

•Use seat belts unless a physician provides a certi�cation regarding a medical condition that prohibits use of a seatbelt.

•Not bring alcohol or illegal drugs onto the bus.

•Passengers that are intoxicated may be asked to exit the bus and/or arrested.

•Wear a shirt and shoes.

•Have exact change before boarding. Drivers cannot make change.

•Drivers cannot refund money from the fare box.

•Refrain from smoking including vapor cigarettes, chewing tobacco or drinking.

•Refrain from eating and drinking. All food and beverages must be in sealed containers.

•Carry on items too large to �t between the seats are too big to transport.

•Not bring anything on board that could be considered a weapon.

•Not bring on board hazardous materials, combustibles, (items include gasoline, car batteries, tires, skates). Any item that is too

large to �t between the seats.

•Companion animals are welcome in a pet carrier or on a leash under the condition the animal is under the passengers control

at all times. Cats must be in a pet carrier no exceptions.

•Service animals are welcome.

•Passengers may carry up to four (4) grocery sized bags on the bus.

•Passengers must carry their own oxygen, groceries, strollers, carts, pets and children.

•All mobility device passengers must use the four point bus restraint system.

•Mobility device passengers must use their seat belt, or a lap belt when on the lift and while traveling.

•The �rst row seats are reserved for seniors, the disabled, and passengers traveling with children.

•Passengers not meeting this condition must yield the seats in the �rst row of seats when requested to do so by the driver.

•Children must be removed from strollers.

•Strollers must be folded and stowed when a bus is moving.

•It’s recommended that a child use the bus restraint system.

•Aisles must be kept free and clear of all personal belongings.

•Always safely secure oxygen equipment.

•Drivers will not search a passengers body or back packs or belongings for the correct fare.

”Only occupy one seat.

•Remain seated while the bus is moving.

•Refrain from �ghting, vulgarity, pushing, or lewd behavior. It isn’t appropriate.

•Always use headphones with portable electronic devices.

•Keep conversations private.

•Don’t distract the driver.

•Stay behind the painted lines.

•Soliciting or loitering are not allowed.

•Keep the bus clean.

If you can't make it to one of our designated bus stops, make use of our door-to-door public transport service. This is provided for the disabled, elderly or disad-

vantaged. After you register, you can count on our bus drivers to pick you up at your home and take you to your desired destination. When you’re ready to

make use of this service, follow these steps:

1. Call to make a reservation (you must call at least two days in advance of pickup)

2. Our driver will pick you up at home (be ready on time, so we can keep to our schedule)

3. You’ll be dropped o� at your destination

4. Call when you’re ready to go home, and we’ll pick you up as soon as possible

Passengers must register before riding ASSIST. To register, call the day before no later than 3:00 p.m to schedule a free registration trip the next. day. Or visit the

o�ce located at 1715 East 4th Street.

Registration consists of completing a client information card and learning how to ride ASSIST. Learning how to ride ASSIST is the �nal step to register. The

whole process takes less than �fteen minutes.
