We at the Casket and Funeral Supplies Company Ltd (C.F.S.)- a subsidiary of the Belgroves

Group of Companies (B.G.C.)- believe that the style of casket / coffin

selected for an individual’s loved one tribute, tells their story. It presents an opportunity for

With over one hundred years (100) of experience our skilled artisans are determined to

maintain an exceptional level of craftsmanship by utilising high-quality products in

tailoring any design.

Customisation is a main part of what we do here at C.F.S. because we believe it’s a

unique way to make a tribute service more meaningful to families and, it’s our way of

showing that we do more than just say we care! Because everyone deserves a Belgroves!

Coffin or Casket?

What’s the difference between a casket and a coffin?

Most persons are unaware that there is a difference between the two and oftentimes use

the terms interchangeably.

The difference? It’s simple. The variance is in the design and the size. Like the movies of

yesteryear, coffins are smaller in size, have six (6) sides and are usually narrower at the

head and foot and broader at the shoulders.

Alternatively, caskets are comparatively larger, rectangular in shape (4 sides) and are

made of superior quality timbers; often featuring a higher standard of artistry.

Poinsettia

The Poinsettia, like its’ namesake, is much more than meets the eyes. This coffin is modelled to match the qualities of joy, hope, love, purity, holi-ness and motherhood. The interior is fashioned with a cushioned insert and can be customised to any colour. This unit can be outfitted with either gold, bronze or silver Plimpton handles.

Raised Tulip

There is a common belief that the Tulip flower symbolises perfect love and is often associated with rebirth. Our Raised Tulip and Flat Tulip coffins are particularly unique pieces that are beautifully designed for a significant loved one. It signifies a promise to that person that you will be with them in this life and the next. Unlike the Flat Tulip, the Raised Tulip is distinguished by a raised top. The Raised Tulip and Flat Tulip can be personalised to a desired colour in a lacquered finish or upholstered (fabric) and is matched with gold, silver or bronze Plimpton handles.

Rose

The Rose is a coffin like no other. With rounded shoulders, this specially crafted piece comes in any colour that suits the liking of a loved one. The Rose is available polished or upholstered (fabric) and can be outfitted with Gold, Silver or Bronze Plimpton handles.

Sunset

The Sunset is a beautifully constructed flat top casket with a polished finish. It is available in an array of colours ranging from Chestnut, Mahogany, Brown Mahogany and Walnut (with or without spectrum) and can be paired with Gold, Silver or Bronze Plimpton Handles.

Ixora

The Ixora is a square topped metal casket that can be customised to a desired colour; whether one coloured or two-toned.

Unique

This casket’s design matches its’ name: Unique. This squared topped wooden casket features a plush pillowed interior which can be fashioned with the favourite picture of a loved one. The Unique, boast-ing an elegantly polished finish can be personalised to a desired colour and matched with gold, silver or bronze Plimpton handles.

The Belgroves Group of Companies (B.G.C.) believe in honouring your loved ones in every facet of their Tribute Service. Hence, the introduction of the Esteem line of caskets which boasts exceptionally crafted designs in various customisations.

The Esteem (metal) is the last in the line-up of remarkably constructed caskets. With a metal exterior, the inside features a plush, cushioned covering befitting of the final resting place of a loved one.

Like the highly coveted ornamental plants that emote luxury and beauty, the design of the Orchid Esteem casket is no different. With round-ed pillars at the outer corners, this Esteem comes with a raised, squared top in a Mahogany and is encircled by gold and wooden palls.

The Marigold Esteem casket is really one of a kind. Like the flower which is representative of the Sun, this casket includes a coloured picture of the Last Supper (the last meal eaten by Jesus and his disciples on the night before the Crucifixion) on the inside. On the outside, it is surrounded by stunningly engraved versions of the last Supper encrusted in a metallic gold. This casket comes in a variety of wooden and polished colours, inclusive of Chestnut, Mahogany, Brown Mahogany and Walnut.
