OPUS ARCHITECTS is a sufficiently experienced firm with a zest to deliver Architectural services for
all types of base-build and interior projects.
It was founded in early year 2006 by Ar. Sujay Ghorpadkar who has been in the field since 2000
and has had a rich experience working with prestigious Architectural firms in Bangalore.
Opus Architects is committed to deliver contemporary and contextually relevant designs and
specializes in ‘not specializing’ in any one type of built form. In a short time from its inception Opus
Architects has handled a wide range of structures (described below). The fundamental approach to
any project is Design Centric, with the focus on understanding the client requirement and trying to
redefine its design solution in a unique way. Opus Architects has its registered office in Sanjay
Nagar, Bangalore.
3 THE MISSION at Opus Architects is to provide concept-to-completion Architectural Consultancy
Services to the latest market standards and best practices with highly skilled and motivated
professionals working together to provide the highest satisfaction to the clients.
Opus Architects has associations with leading consultants in Bangalore and other cities in South India,
and taps into their resources to provide advanced solutions in the Building systems headings like
structural design, lighting and power distribution systems, plumbing, networking, HVAC, fire detection
and protection, security systems, process piping, integrated building management systems, etc.

PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT - Ar. SUJAY GHORPADKAR
A Bachelor’s degree-holder in Architecture, Ar. Sujay Ghorpadkar graduated
from Dayanand Sagar Engineering College, Bangalore in the year 2000.
In the past he has worked at prestigious Architectural firms in Bangalore such
as, Venkataramanan Associates, Thomas Associates, and Zachariah
Consultants. During these years Ar. Sujay Ghorpadkar worked on various small, medium and large
scale projects which included Residences, Commercial Buildings, Institutions and Software Campuses.
He last worked at Thomas Associates, before he decided to follow his dream of going the
entrepreneurial way. In the year 2006 he formed OPUS ARCHITECTS.
Ar. Sujay Ghorpadkar’s professional experience summary is given in brief below:

Project : Software Campus for M/s S T Microelectronics at Greater Noida, Delhi.
Project scale : 4,40,000 SFT built-up area. (Project Cost: 105 Crores)
Scope : Design to execution works for both Base build and Interiors.
Involvement : Project head, design development, project co-ordination, team handling, etc.
Project : Apartment schemes for Sethna Developers.
Project scale : 1,40,000 SFT.
2002-2004 : Architect at Venkataramanan Associates, Bangalore
Project : Software campus for M/s I-Gate Global Solutions, White Field, Bangalore.
Project scale : 1,00,000 SFT.

Project : UVIT Integration Lab for the India Institute of Astrophysics at Hoskote
