It provides reports of UK research studies and reviews of recent re- search and developments within Nursing Education. It features chapters on curriculum planning, specific aspects of content, teaching methods and curriculum evaluation. Although some chapters appear specific to particular training, e.g. RGN. RMN, Continuing Education programmes, the principles of each can be applied across the various curricula. The book does not aim to provide an in-depth study of Curriculum Development. However, it is extensively referenced and has immense value for progressive Schools wishing to adopt a research-base to their curriculum developments. This text would be of particular interest and value to curriculum This book offers an interesting approach to helping student psychiatric nurses to preparc for their final examinations. The answers to the multiple choice questions are given in a follow- ing section and those answers are explained.
