In Israel’s Tzahar Region, we support:
n training and educational programs that break the cycle of poverty
n mentoring and enrichment programs for children at-risk and programs to help new immigrants integrate successfully
In St. Petersburg, Russia, our programs:
n rejuvenate Jewish spirit and culture

We are here… particularly in challenging and uncertain times.
Because Federation IS community.

We address overseas needs through partnerships created with the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) and the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI), including Masa Israel, which offers study, internship and volunteer opportunities to 18-to-30-year-olds that last five months to a year.
I am involved. I am committed. I love this community. It’s my home… and it’s yours, too. — HOPE SILVERMAN

One of the largest at-risk groups in our community is our elderly, including a considerable number of Holocaust survivors living below the poverty line as they age. At the other end of the spectrum are the Jewish children, teens and adults that we help experience Jewish values and traditions, building strong, lasting Jewish identities and connecting them to Israel.
We have big dreams and plans for our next 50 years. Visions and aspirations that we will fulfill together to build and sustain our community for our children, grandchildren and future generations.
Our family of partner agencies and donors like you make good things happen! Our community is working together to better the lives of those who need us the most. We’re proud of that...and we know that you are, too.
