GULF CASCADE HD-S RANGE (Water Soluble Chlorine Free)

Gulf Cascade HD-S is the latest in chlorine free technology offering significant advantages in performance without the use of chlorinated additives. It is inherently low foam and hard water stable, it is suitable for use on a wide range of difficult materials and is a perfect choice for the production of automotive and aerospace components.

VARIATIONS

1. HD-S in its standard form is a super universal performance product.

2. HD-S Plus contains higher levels of performance additives than thestandard to gain outstanding service finish and increase tool life.

3. HD-S ULF has been formulated for ultra-high pressures and small sumpcapacity machines where foaming can be exaggerated.

This range offers traditional EP performance associated with difficult

to machine materials where tool life can be maximised.

Cascade VHPU is an excellent high performance robust product able to

machine titanium, Inconel and super duplex materials. This product can

be selected where there is no compromise due to difficult machining

processes and tool life needs to be maximised.

Cascade VHPU (High Oil)

Cascade EP XLL is a high performance multi-functional

semi-synthetic metal processing fluid which produces a translucent micro

emulsion when diluted in water. The grade incorporates the latest non-

staining performance additives to ensure complete multi-metal

compatibility. Based upon synthetic and natural esters the product

provides excellent machining performance across a wide range of

machining applications.

Cascade EP XLL (Low Oil)

Cascade HD-S ELF incorporates all the same high performance

characteristics as the standard VHPU and uses the unique low foam

emulsifier system for use in machines with high pressure and small sumps

where persistent foam presents problems.

biocide legislations throughout the globe.

Cascade HD-SB is a dedicated copper and brass machining fluid. The anti

stain package is designed to minimise the risk of black staining on work

pieces whilst leaving the component shiny and bright. It is always

recommend to dip test this type of none ferrous material prior to machining.

A next generation full synthetic grinding and cutting fluid designed for high

speed viper grinding of aero blades, vanes and seal segments for the

GRS will provide excellent surface finish on all high end alloys whilst

AVIATION SECTOR WATER SOLUBLE PRODUCTS


GULFCUT AS DHB is a high performance chlorine free deep hole boring/

cutting oil, specifically developed for the machining of aerospace alloys.

The additive pack is designed to provide class leading cooling and high EP

performance replacing traditional higher levels of chlorine in applications

such as the machining of landing gear. The product has been

independently tested by Safran and meets PCS 4001 specification.

GULFCUT AS DHB

GULFCUT JS 40 AND JS 10 are neat grinding/cutting fluids formulated

using the highest quality synthetic hydrocarbon base stocks. These offer

significant advantages in metal working applications when compared to

high quality mineral oils of the same viscosity. Designed particularly for

use in grinding of titanium aerospace components, JS provides excellent

performance in a range of severe metal removal operations and is suitable

for use with most materials including high alloy steels. During

development and testing the products recorded significant efficiency

reductions of up to 30% in reduced consumption when compared to

standard mineral oil products.

GULFCUT JS 40 AND JS 10

GULFCUT ARS RD is a high performance synthetic neat pressing, drawing,

cold heading and blanking lubricant. Designed for the use in arduous

operations such as cold forging of rivets, nuts and bolts. Its revolutionary

chlorine free technology exhibits high load bearing capabilities on a wide

range of materials. The product is a world leader in terms of performance

and extends extraordinarily tool life in the application and has been

approved by SALVI OEM machinery manufacturer. The product performance

translates into holding consistent size of components under arduous

conditions, which is critical in the production of aviation blank fasteners

prior to machining.

A Rolls Royce approved dielectric fluid to CSS142 type 1A. GULFCUT AS

PRIMASPARK is a universal low viscosity spark erosion fluid which

provides accuracy and finish exhibiting good flushing characteristics whilst

maintaining electrode cooling. This is an excellent rationalisation grade.

GULFCUT AS TRF is a neat thread rolling lubricant formulated using the

highest quality synthetic hydrocarbon base stocks. The product is chlorine

free and uses a unique additive system incorporating extreme pressure and

anti-wear additives together with synthetic esters and special film forming

components resulting in excellent tool life and outstanding surface finish.

Designed to be used on thread rolling of titanium aerospace components,

TRF provides excellent performance in a range of

metal forming operations and is suitable for use with most materials

including high alloy steels. The product has been approved by SASPI who

manufacture thread rolling machines and during development and testing

die life was extended up to 3 times compared to standard heavily

chlorinated mineral oil products. The GULFCUT AS TRF has been shown to

provide twice the life of a traditional mineral oil product.

AVIATION SECTOR NEAT OIL PRODUCTS


Gulfcut X3M is an environmentally friendly, biodegradable, mineral oil free neat cutting oil range. These are used for machining requirements where high levels of performance are needed. The range is formulated on synthetic and natural ester technology incorporating raw materials to provide the highest degree of lubricity and extreme pressure capability for the most extremes of modern day machining requirements.

Gulfcut X3M (Viscosity 5, 10, 20 & 30)

A range of low mist neat oils for many applications. This is a “single” neat oil for many performance applications and provides excellent machining performance on a full range of materials. Its DTR additive pack allows the grade to be used on all general machining applications along with gear cutting, gear grinding, threading and broaching. The products provide excellent heat and swarf removal on high speed machining processes.

These products are pale, low odour, chlorine free neat cutting oils containing extreme pressure additives, anti-wear, high lubricity additives and carefully selected semi-synthetic mineral oils developed for the use on high speed sliding head machines.

Gulfcut HNF Is a technically advanced low viscosity neat cutting fluid specifically formulated as a carbide and flute and form grinding fluid. Formulated from severely refined enhanced high viscosity index mineral oil and synthetic base stocks, with added extreme pressure and lubricity additives. This produces excellent machining performance and extended wheel life, in many established flute and form grinding operations where a low viscosity fluid is required or specified.

Gulfcut DTR/CF is a medium viscosity chlorine free drilling, tapping and reaming fluid. The high EP performance package is designed to extend tool and life and minimise friction. The product is designed for use on a wide selection of raw materials.

A full range of machine circulatory and lubricating oils.

Viscosity range ISO 10, 22, 32, 46, 68, 100

A range of premium grade mineral based hydraulic oils with excellent anti-

wear properties providing protection in the most demanding of systems.

They are rust, corrosion and oxidation inhibited. Additionally, they contain

an effective anti-foam additive to control foam and facilitate the rapid

release of entrained air, therefore maximising hydraulic system efficiency.

Viscosity range ISO 68, 220

They are suitable for both vertical and horizontal slides and tables.

Formulated to readily separate from all water based fluids and through a

specially developed polarised anti-wear additive package will adhere to all

metal surfaces without the need of conventional tacky additives. The Gulf

slideway oil range meets a unique oil rejection test and will not distort

refractometer readings of an in-use emulsion and will not contribute to

tramp oil accumulation.

Gulf has developed a range of turbine oils, GulfCrest, that enable users such as power companies and process plant operators to select the oil that will deliver optimum value to their operations through enhanced protection, long oil life and high system efficiency. From high temperature gas turbine systems to combined cycle systems with integral gearing the GulfCrest range of turbine oils are designed to protect equipment from the effects of corrosion and to minimise the build-up of deposits and lacquer in turbine bearings and control valves.

GULF TURBINE OIL RANGE

Gulf supply a range of conventional solvent and low odour based

vanishing oils for light pressing and stamping of both ferrous and non

ferrous alloys. In addition non VOC aqueous based alternatives are

available for many applications.

GULF VANISHING OILS

Gulf produce a number of products which are suitable for use in ferrous

and non ferrous wire drawing applications from rod break to fine wire

production. The most advanced formulation technology developed by Gulf

provides significant advantages including extended sump life, low foam

and outstanding machine and wire cleanliness. Gulf are also available to

offer a number of soluble oils and non aqueous based lubricants which

find use in tube drawing and bending applications.

GULF TUBE & WIRE

Gulf produce a range of temporary corrosion preventatives suitable for

protection of ferrous and non ferrous alloys and galvanised steel. Products

are available for short term protection of components in production and long

term protection during storage and transportation. The range includes solvent

based products as well as solvent free based and totally aqueous products.

GULF TEMPORARY CORROSION PROTECTIVES

Gulf offer a range of traditional oil based quenchants including accelerated

oils together with a range of polymer type quenchants including PAG types.

GULF QUENCHANTS

Gulf offer a wide range of Mould oils for the concrete industry. The range

includes; biodegradable mould oils and maintenance fluids to prevent

concrete spatter from adhering to key pieces of equipment and so

remove the need for hand chisels and pneumatic tools in hoppers and

mixers.
