The Festival offers a Designated Driver Program, where guests accompanying at least one ticket holder are granted complimentary admittance to the Wine Festival. As a Designated Driver, guests will wear a badge to signify “No Alcohol” and will not receive a tasting glass. Guests in attendance are also invited to participate in $30 the “Every Cork Wins” raffl e.

The Museum is offering free parking at three designated offsite parking lots and round trip shuttle service to and from the Wine Festival. For those guests who prefer to park in the Museum lot, a limited number of parking passes are available online for $20.

The Academy Festival Orchestra, Larry Rachleff, Conductor, Sat, June 20th at 8pm at the Granada Theatre • The Academy Festival Orchestra series opens magnifi cently with Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. Academy Voice Program fellows will be the soloists and join the Santa Barbara Choral Society in the iconic Ode to Joy. Mason Bates’ Ode was commissioned

by the Phoenix Symphony in 2001 as a companion piece to Beethoven’s Ninth. Ode turns Beethoven’s piece backward, beginning with the joy and working back to the music of the fi rst movement, in so doing chronicling how the world has developed since the great choral symphony was written in 1827.

Tickets are $10, $40, $50,(free to 7-17 with paid adult admission).
