Magic Mountain, a group exhibition exploring the healing and therapeutic properties of the natural world will be on view from March 8th, 2015 through January 31st, 2016.

For centuries, travelers to remote mountain villages, seaside escapes, and desert oases have turned to our environment in search of medicinal attributes. Whether it’s to fi nd the elixir of life, to practice the restorative act of sun-gazing, to harvest mud for skin renewal, or to receive the magnetic power of rocks, the belief in nature’s curative virtues often transcends scientifi c explanation to include mystical aspects.
