MISSION: The mission of Fort Myers Technical College is to provide high quality career and technical training, in order to prepare students for current and emerging industries, delivered by a professional and caring staff in a positive learning environment. VISION: All students enrolled in vocational/technical programs will obtain workforce credentials through certificate programs and, where applicable, industry certification and/or licensure. Students receive “ hands-on training in a favorable student to instructor environment.”

While in the program, students will participate in a variety of hands-on projects and activities.

Length of Carpentry Program:

Approximately one school year

Certifications: National Center for Construction

Education and Research (NCCER) Core, Carpentry I and II (certifications upon completion of NCCER requirements)
