Strobist UAE initiated a shoot for a cause dubbed as “Kita Ko Tsinelas Mo” (I can see your slippers) that benefit the underprivilleged children in a certain local-ity in the Philippines (Biak na Bato, Bulacan). The participants were attended by various photography groups and individuals across UAE. As part of the drive to come up with huge amount of money to buy the slippers, Models, make-up artists and de-signers once again gath-ered to help and support the cause.

The Strobist UAE founder Meiji Sanggalang along with the core and mem-bers helped facilitate to have this event success-ful. Thus, we woul like to acknowledge the sup-port of Noel Pangilinan of Lightbenders Project, Myk Reyes, Mr. Joey Baluyot as the designer, The Models Victoria Grafkina, Natasha Northcote, Anna Petrosyan and Zuhaib Al Azzawi. The Make-up artists Carla Fuentes, Ivy Peralta, Berry Canam Calanza, Saba Shoaib and Louise Mo-

nique Soriano who show-case her special effects in make-up.

We also thanked Mr. Ashok of Aqute Studio for spon-soring the venue of the event.

The proceeds of this event will be hand over person-ally by our members Den-nis Dela Cruz and Jay Rael Nicolas Gonzales to Bulacan this November 2013 and hold the same photoshoot for a cause for Philippines events.

Louise Monique Soriano recently finished the Full Make-Up Diploma Course at London College of Make-Up in Dubai and will get her diplomas and certificates (IMA Make-Up Application Certificate, Diploma in Dressing Hair and IMA Fashion, Photographic and Media Make-Up Diploma) this October 2013. Her skills include: Beauty, Fashion, Creative, Period, Airbrush, Special Effects Make-up and Hairstyling.

Before she studied make-up she worked as a full-time copywriter in several advertising agencies in

the Philippines and in Dubai. She took the Full Make-Up Course to pursue what she thought would just be a dream job. Since her college days she showed great enthusiasm in everything related to fashion and make-up. Writing will always be a part of her too, you’ll always find her with a pen and a notebook wherever she goes. And oh, a camera too because she loves photographing anything and everything that tickles her fancy.
