FOR THE MORE ADVENTUROUS WHO DON’T MIND A BIT OF A CHALLENGE
Where possible, public footpath and bridleway reference numbers have been included in the directions.

UTE
A START: Start at the Carisbrooke Priory Car Park on Whitcombe Road. Walk west to Froglands Road. Taking care on the road, follow Froglands Road onto Bridleway 101.B For the shorter walk turn right onto Foot Path 104 and amble next to
the Lukely Brook back towards Carisbrooke. This path will bring you out onto Clatterford Shute. Turn right and head onto Foot Path 88 towards the Car Park. Cross the Car Park and on to Foot Path 96 and quickly onto Foot Path 89 which will bring you back to the Whitcombe Road. C For the Longer route, Continue on Bridleway 101, which gently
meanders through the countryside until it reaches a T junction with Byway 144. Turn Left onto Byway 144 which will join Bridleway 202 towards Garston.
D Turn left at the end of the Bridleway on to Byway 7 and then shortly after this turn look for Bridleway 10 which will take you to Hill farm.E At Hill farm take a sharp left then a sharp right and find Foot Path 5 on
your left hand side leading to Whitecroft and will ultimately join Sandy Lane. F Turn left onto Sandy Lane and continue until you reach Foot Path 110 on
your right. G Follow Foot Path 110 until you reach Marvel Lane and turn left,
continuing for a short distance until you reach Nunnery Lane.H Take Nunnery Lane and continue until you pass Carisbrooke Priory. You
will be back where you started. FINISH
