We still have an administrative office and guards in the old building; they will remain as long as the national university leases from CIU and until we sell the building. Dear partners in the gospel,

The new CIU facility is ready for full occupancy, almost! Most everything that is needed in the new building has been moved from the old building. We still have an administrative office and guards in the old building; they will remain as long as the national university lease s from CIU and until we sell the building. serve God better, or discover God’s love for the first time in their lives. Thank you! Anyone want to come over and see, and varnish window trim, paint balconies, and do other maintenance tasks? This fall and next year we should be ready to use guests for teaching English conversation and sharing from their lives and

the Bible. Our students thoroughly enjoyed Gerald Tilley and his teaching last month. His students were unbelievers but found what he taught attractive. Our first Summer English School starts June 24.

Update on CIU’s new home - finances Debt reduction – almost have now. We now have $71,445 contributed this year to the Center’s purchase. We thank

EVERYONE for their gift. The large number of gifts that came in during the first three weeks of our appeal gave us great encouragement, though the gifts tapered off rapidly after that. Now a large gift from Southeast Christian Church (Louisville) will cut about in half the debt. We still need $58,000 to be debt free. It is not too late for more of our readers to help out. Furnishing the Center. Not much has come in for the bunk beds. We still need almost $5,000! LaVerne and I advanced those funds so we can be ready for the Summer English School. We still hope that most of our readers will send a gift to complete furnishing the dorm for full fall occupancy!

Camp time. Two of our staff will provide leadership for camps this summer. Anastasia (Nastya) is in one camp for orphans now and will be in two more in the month ahead. Natalka will serve in two French camps, one of which will focus on the teachings of the Bible

European Leadership Forum

Four of us attend the European Leadership Forum in Wisla, Poland. It was a great experience for my staff, especially the two her were first timers. Sorry, Natalka did not make it in the picture. Please pray for

Progress on registering the land.

Our Summer School – to touch students’ lives and earn some income to help with faculty

salaries.

The next academic year – to attract students for our four tiers: (1) Impact students (Bible and

Ministry students); (2) Bible major and minor students; (3) Christians who want to study the

Bible but without the homework and not for credit; (4) Non-Christians who are interested in

studying the Bible and discussing what Christians think about different things.

Additional partners for TMI and CIU – I am seeking partners for our staff and faculty.

Praise the Lord
