FREE bus serviceThere will be a FREE bus for the duration of the fair, between Hild-Bede and Howlands starting at 11.45am running at 20 minute intervals. A schedule is available on the website or from the Student Information desk at the fair.

If you’re unsure about your career path, visit the fair to:
• Meet organisations and obtain first-hand information about them and their opportunities
• Speak to employees including Durham alumni about their experiences of working for individual companies
• Talk to graduate recruiters about the range of opportunities available for each level of study
• Gain an insight into different work experience and graduate programmes and find out about career roles.

Top Tips
• Careers Advisers will be on hand if you need to discuss career options
• Attend one of the preparation sessions designed to help you make the most of the fair
• Check our website just before the event for the definitive list of attendees and decide who you would like to speak to and why
• Prepare by researching employers and thinking about questions to ask prior to the event
• Do not walk away if other students are waiting to speak to a particular organisation. Listen to the questions that they are asking, they might give you useful information on the organisation
• Employer representatives will want to get to know you as well, so: - show interest and enthusiasm - tell them about your studies and what you would like to learn about their organisation and opportunities
• After visiting a stand write down the name of the person you have spoken to and any tips, information or contact details that they gave you.
