FAQ ISEETQue-1 What is ISEET?
Ans: ISEET (Indian Science-Engineering eligibility Test) is a
new pattern of entrance test for taking admission in all the IITs
and
IIITs, IISER and all other institutes of national repute.
Que-2 What is the selection process of ISEET?
Ans: The final cut-off list of ISEET will be generated in three
steps. In first step marks of class 12th
will be considered and at least
weightage of the board result will be taken for the same. In
second step ISEET will be conducted for rest of the 60% we
age.
There will be two papers in ISEET and will be held in one day.
In first paper (ISEET Main), logical & reasoning skills o
student will be tested through aptitude test for 30% weight age.
In second paper (ISEET Advance), subject questions
Physics, Chemistry & Maths advanced to the board level and
near to AIEEE level will be asked for rest of the 30% weight ag
Que-3: Will all the institutes follow the same weight age system
for admission?
Ans: No, this will be the sole decision of the institute or
admission committee for the group of institutes like IITs or NITs.
They
change the weight age system but they have to give at least 40%
weight age to the board result. IITs have decided to w
40% to the board results, 30% to ISEET-Main and rest 30% to
ISEET Advance. Whereas selection committee for NITs will w
40% to board result, 40% to ISEET Main and rest 20% to ISEET
Advance.
Oue-4 Is it sure that ISEET will be implemented from this
year?
Ans: No. It is proposed to be conducted from 2013 but according
to recent news reports and HRD ministrys announcements
very difficult to implement it in 2013 as many states
governments have sought more time to study the ISEET proposal.
Que-5 How will it affect the preparation of students?
Ans. Until now students prepared hard for exams which were in
the pattern of the proposed ISEET Advance exam but now stud
will have to prepare for boards as rigorously as Class XII marks
will carry atleast 40% weightage in the admission process.
Que-6 Will Career Point be able to prepare me according to that
examination pattern?
Ans: Yes, in fact Career point has already completed its
preparation for the change. We have been preparing students for

(CBSE/ State Board) since 2007 and providing the complete study
material for board examination as well. From last two y
we have been providing coaching for School Syllabus along with
NTSE, Olympiads & other reputed national level schola
tests.
So in fact we have adopted these patterns far before than other
institutes in Kota. Secondly, the as HRD Ministry
announced that the level of ISEET advance will be advance to the
Board level, so we can be sure that the level of ISEET adv
will be more similar to AIEEE in which Career Point has proved
its leadership in the very first year of AIEEE Examination
in2001-02 and maintaining the leading position since then.
