whose jobs (or aspects of their jobs) you would like to have? – Can you picture it within your current company? Is it external? – Work your network (internal/external), put the word out – Be open to taking interim steps or making lateral moves to get there
Asking for a promotion – Build an irrefutable business case and socialize it with a few trusted advisors
in your network – Set up a meeting (get the timing right!) with your manager, tee up the
