• Transoesophageal Echocardiography

• Stress Echocardiography :Treadmill, Dobutamine, Pacing, Dobutamine – Pacing ( 1500 Stress Echo annually as a part of integrated Service)

• Cardiac CT: including Calcium Scoring, CT Coronary Angiography (Non Invasive and highly accurate coronary angiography),

• Assessment of different forms of valvular heart disease and vascular system for TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation), assessment of different forms of Valvular Heart Disease

• Pacing and ICD checks and optimisation of the devices

ONE STOP CLINIC Our One Stop Cardiology Clinic offers patients a comprehensive service where diagnosis can be made and the necessary treatment outlined within one consultation*. Patients are assessed and undergo a series of non-invasive tests in order to diagnose symptoms. Your Consultant will then assess the results and recommend the required treatment.

CARDIOLOGY INVESTIGATION UNIT The Cardiology Investigations Unit is led by Dr Joseph Davar, Consultant Cardiologist, MD, PhD, FRCP, FACC

We use a range of tests and scans including ECG’s, blood analyses, ultrasound and

cardiac CT to detect heart disease and assess the risk of a variety of cardiac problems including heart attacks and strokes.

The unit provides both outpatient and inpatient cardiology investigations ranging from:

• ECG

• Prolonged cardiac rhythm monitoring: Holter and loop monitors (24 hours and up to 1 month)

• Prolonged – up to 2 years – rhythm monitoring with miniature implantable rhythm monitors

• Prolonged Blood Pressure monitoring

• Echocardiography: Two and Three Dimensional, Contrast, Doppler, Strain imaging
