Join us for this special event! Craig Charron has recently been diagnosed with stomach cancer. Unfortunately it was discovered too late to perform surgery but Chemotherapy could possibly prolong his life another 5 years. The Cardinal Race for Courage will take place on November 7th, 2010 and all proceeds will go toward a fund to help the Charron family with any financial burdens. The race will be held at St. John Fisher College. Registration and race staring line will be in the park-and-ride parking lot right off the 490 highway. The race is a 5K run (3.2 miles) or 2K walk (1 Mile) through the St. John Fisher campus. The race will begin at 10:00 am and the majority of it will be outlined with safety cones and volunteers along the way.

Cardinal Race for Courage

Is a former professional hockey player. He was an amazing player in the American Hockey League for many seasons, and he was the highest-scoring player on the 1995–1996 Rochester Americans team leading them to win the Calder Cup. He is also the current coach of the Spencerport Rangers High School Hockey team where he helped the team make huge strides but eventually lost to Webster-Thomas in the second round of sectional who went on to win the NYS championship.
