Lets face it: working out can be boring. Even the mostmotivated of us sometimes cant help but feel like wereworking hard, but getting nowhere. Its the mouse-wheelsyndrome and it can be a deal-breaker for some trying to livea more active lifestyle. But, lucky for us, the answer to thisdilemma is simple: change it up. Varying your workoutroutine will not only make you more willing to exercise on aregular basis, but it will make the time go faster. One of thebest ways to do this is to incorporate learning a new skill intoyour workout.

Cue the hoop dancing. Thright. Dancing. With hoops. Hoop danis the art of using your body to spin hoops acrobatically. It can be done witwithout music. It can be done with mthan one hoop. It can also be done fire. (But well save that for the more daCarbonites out there). This workout ide

both fun and engaging and the more practice it, the better you (and your become!

Kaylee teaches us how to do a move calls isolation of the hoop. The end rlooks like the hoop is fixed in midair you are working to spin it in diffedirections. This move works your shouland back, especially.

Stance: Stand with your knees slightly and shoulder-length apart. Hold the hso you are looking straight through middle of it.

Step 1: Grip the hoop in front of you, at the 6 ocloposition, with your knuckles facing out.

Step 2: Move the hoop to the 9oclock positio

keeping the circle of the hoop in the samposition.

Step 3: Move your arm, in a circle, back to the oclock position, briefly letting the hoop go 12 oclock in order to catch it again, knucklout, back at 6. Give the hoop a good push oyour way back down to 6 to get momentuand maintain the hoops spin.

    Step 4: Do it faster.

Step 5: Look awesome in a tank top.

After recently travelling abroad, there were a few things I was grate-

ful I packed and a few things that Ireally wished I had packed. In thehopes that you can have smoothtravels, here are a few tips for whatto pack:

    1) A Travel Pillow: Falling asleepwhile your head bobs from side toside is highly unlikely; travel pillowssolve this problem. They are evenavailable in an inflatable version,

which are perfect for airplane tripsinvest in one, youre neck will thankyou!

    2) A Watch with an Alarm: Younever know where youll end upwhile travelling. If youre staying in ahotel, there will most likely be analarm clock. However, if you are

staying in a hostel, this luxury isunlikely. To make sure you wake up

in time to see all the sights, pack awatch that can double as your alarmclock.

    3) Passport cover: When travellingabroad, one of the most importantthings to pack is your passport.Fashionably display this travel essen-tial with a chic passport cover. Pass-port covers come in a variety ofstyles and are a simple way to show

    off your fashion sense.
