Steam Turbine

Civil design with sufficient space forrespective equipment installation

either with first installationor later with retrofit of capture plant

Rebuild of steam turbine necessary, depending on:

site conditions (especially capability of final heat sink)required operating modes (part load importance, full load capability w/o capture etc.)

Capture ready measuresto be considered in capture ready design

Additional recommendation forpre-investment:Prepared cross-over pipe for tee branch and control valve

Turbine Building

Space for process steam / condensate pipe routing inside turbine building including necessary supporting structures, drains etc.

Adaption of height of turbine building:caused by additional height of cross-

over pipe due to required tee-branch and control valve (sufficient height for crane hook)

Space for de-superheating of process steam

heat exchangerspiping etc.

Space for installation of heat exchangers for low grade heat utilization including necessary piping

Capture ready measuresto be considered in capture ready design
