MUCHO Y POCO

• Mucho and poco may modify a noun or a verb. When the former is the case, mucho and poco act as adjective and must agree in number and gender with what is being modiffied.
• When mucho and poco modify a verb, they are adverbs and do not vary in form.
• Muy is never used to modify mucho. Use the word muchísimo.

If there is anything other than a noun right after mucho (poco), then it is modifying a verb.
Salgo con amigos poco.
Trabajo mucho y gano dinero.
Miro mucho la televisión.
Llueve poco en primavera.

If there is a common noun right after mucho (poco), then it is modifying it. Is it uncountable or countable?
El profesor manda muchas tareas.

• A verb is called reflexive when the subject does the action to or for himself, herself, themselves. A reflexive (Indirect object) pronoun always accompanies such a verb.

Reflexive verbs use reflexive pronouns. Third person pronouns are always “SE” in reflexive verbs.

“Me + verb” becomes “verb + me” when the verb is not conjugated.
Me lavo / LavarmeSe lava / Lavarse
When two verbs are next to each other, usually the fist one is conjugated and the second one is INFINITIVE.
