HEALTHCARE SUCCESS Te U.S. Department of Veterans Afairs has selected Cape Coral as the location for a new 220,000-square-foot state-of-the-art VA Outpatient Clinic, which provides acute care medical services for the 200,000 veterans in the region. VA Clinic Associate Chief of Staf, Dr. Ajay Dhawan, said, “In this facility, we have all the capabilities to provide 21st Century health care.”

Te clinic will serve as an anchor for health-related services. Two large- scale mixed-use projects are already being developed in the VIZ - the Veterans Investment Zone.
