Planning
Our project management team
works closely with our clients to
ensure that key priorities and
milestones are delivered upon. Our
dedicated R&D program ensures
that solutions can be found for our
clients, whatever the problem may
be. Our ISO9001 QA compliance
ensures that all projects are
delivered to or above our clients’
expectations and standards.
Suppliers
Supplier performance audits are
conducted regularly, ensuring that
our quality standards are
maintained throughout the supply
chain. This helps to establish
efficient supply lines, meaning
that materials can be sourced in
a timely manner, and lead times
can be reduced.
Sales
The Permapipe sales team provides
pricing, availability and technical
assistance for our products which
span a broad range of industries.
We are specialists in piping and
insulation systems and through our
experience are able to provide
simple solutions to our clients’
complex problems.

Fabrication
Permapipe pre-fabricate piping systems for the HVAC-R, mining, oil and gas,
water treatment and fire industries.
Permapipe has a diverse and highly skilled workforce, with strong emphasis on
the continuous improvement and up skilling of its employees.
As a member of the Welding Technology Institute of Australia, Permapipe is
dedicated to remaining at the forefront of welding and fabrication technology.
Our fabrication personnel are qualified to Permapipe’s ASME IX certified
welding procedure.
Permapipe have the capability to fabricate pipe up to 900mm diameter, at
lengths of 12 metres and over.

Equipment and production capabilities
Polyurethane
Permapipe produce a number of insulation products, using a rigid polyurethane
foam. Different densities of foam are used, depending on the application.
A low density foam is used for pre-insulation of pipe (Permapipe), and for pipe
lagging sections (Permashield). Pre-insulated pipe manufacture is handled by an
OMS high pressure injection machine, utilising an impingement mixing head,
constant chemical temperature control and extremely accurate metering to
achieve a consistently high quality product.
Polyurethane’s low thermal conductivity coefficient and closed cell
composition make it one of the most efficient insulative products available,
especially as insulation specifications increase, with more emphasis being
placed on the importance of energy saving solutions.
Medium and high density foam is used for the manufacture of pipe supports
(Permablock). The foam is produced in block form, and then cut into the
correct shape using a CNC wire cutter. The use of the wire cutter gives
unlimited scope to pipe sections which can be cut, with virtually any
dimensions being obtainable. The high compressive strength of our high density
foam (2250 kPa) makes it ideal for pipe supports up to 800 mm in diameter,
and due to its inorganic make-up, removes the risk of block failure due to
breakdown from moisture. Blocks over this diameter can be made to special
order.
