Today, one-in-five Americans have a disability and two-thirds of working age Americans with

disabilities are unemployed. People with disabilities, or barriers to employment, represent the

single largest and most diverse minority in the country.

PRIDE Industries, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit social enterprise, was founded in 1966, in Auburn, CA,

with a mission to create jobs for people with disabilities. For over 50 years, this mission has

expanded to include a wide diversity of people and service offerings across the nation.

PRIDE helps people overcome employment obstacles and empowers them to lead productive,

independent lives as contributing members of their communities. Our extensive range of

contracting solutions, serving small business to large Fortune 100 companies, federal and

commercial sector customers, provide the opportunities to support our mission.

Additional support from donors allows us to increase access to community employment,

provide training, and supply resources and tools to ensure long-term employment success for

people with disabilities including service-disabled veterans.
