CANSORB Steel Drum Adsorbers Activated Carbon Liquid Adsorbers
Design Advantages • Specifi cally designed
for liquid phaseadsorption to removetrace contaminates inenvironmentalremediationapplications
• Constructed ofcarbon steel andoffers a doubleepoxy/phenolic lining
• CANSORB systemshave been proven bymore than 20 years offi eld experience
• Useful for collectinghazardous organicand radioactivewastes
The CANSORB Steel Drub Adsorber is speci c ally designed for liquid phase adsorption to remove trace contaminates in environmental remediation applications. The CANSORB steel drum system is a series of disposable and re l lable activated carbon adsorbers constructed of carbon steel and offer a double epoxy/phenolic lining.
The liquid collection system of the adsorber is designed to promote even fl ow distribution and thus, effi cient liquid phase adsorbent utilization. Internals are PVC except for the C15-TX which has metal internals. These steel drum activated carbon adsorbers have been proven by more than 20 years of fi eld experience and are particularly useful for collection hazardous organic and radioactive wastes.
CANSORB Features■ “OH”designation on model number indicates open head
(re llable) adsorber.
■ Desired contact time may allow higher or lower ow rates.
■ Dry virgin activated or reactivated carbon provided asstandard adsorbent.
■ Maximum adsorbent ll is based on a bed density of27 lb/ft3.
■ Maximum adsorbent ll can differ based on variable beddensity and alternate adsorbents.
