CHKV’s 5th MEDICAL MISSION
A medical team of 13 physicians and medical personnel will be partaking in our 5th Medical Mission from February 10-24, 2019.
The members of the Canadian team are giving their time and covering all personal costs to offer clinical sessions and a teaching medical symposium for physicians throughout the An Giang Province.
Our focus this mission is on adult and paediatric cardiovascular and trauma life support, airway management, obstetrical care and point-of-care ultrasound.
We held two samosa sales in the fall which raised $4,997.50 to purchase adult and paediatric CPR manikins and paediatric airway and crisis manikins for the upcoming mission. Thank you to all who purchased these delicious treats!
A GIFT OF LOVE
CHKV would also like to thank retired Judge Terry Shupe from Kamloops, BC for donating 662 handmade wooden toys that he crafted himself. These toys will be delivered to the children in the hospital and orphanages.
