Devoting himself to the rarecoin and precious metal tradefor well over three decades,Westerlings commitment to thecustomer is second to none. Fromtheir Roseville office, he and hisassociates offer purchases andappraisals for estates, banks, insur-ance companies and individuals.
My staff and I are dedicatedto helping people preserve andgrow their wealth, Westerling
explains. Thats why The TrumanCompany offers personalized ser-vice tailored to each individual.
Introduced to the business byhis Uncle Truman, a young Rogerbecame enamore d with coins. Thisnearly-lifelong passion encour-aged Westerling to open his ownbusiness und er the Truman name.
Every time he visited my fam-ily, he gave me a coin that had aninteresting history. His hope wasthat I would develop a real inter-est in rare and unusual coins, andit worked, Westerling says witha smile.
Westerling visited Minnesota toappraise a collection in 1998, andwas so touched by the welcome hereceived he decided to move bothhis home and business to St. Paul.He currently works with about3,000 clients around the country.
Westerling is a life memberof the American NumismaticAssociation and holds an A+rating with the Better BusinessBureau.
His knowledge can reassurepeople that theyre insuring orpricing such items correctly. Immore than happy to visit a homeor bank to review a collection,Westerling notes. Theres a mar-
ket for everything!
Though old coins appreci-ate gradually, precious metalshave undergone dramatic spikesover the past decade in value,Westerling adds. From 2002 to2013, the value of silver went upby 66 8 percent and go ld by 59 5percent. Many of Westerlingscustomers are currently trans-ferring individual retirementaccount funds from banks to aprecious metal IRA.
I honestly think the pricesfor gold and silver will con-tinue to rise throughout ourlifetime, while the U.S. dollardeclines, Westerling explains.Transferring to a precious metalIRA can be an excellent invest-ment.
Customers will feel at homein The Truman Company office, where they might even meet
Westerlings pooch, Sonny, and
his wife, Donna, a Twin Citiesartist whose work is featuredthroughout the office.
Curious about the worth of
a personal collection? Roger
Westerling and his staff at TheTruman Company are ready tohelp.

I
ts not easy to watch your loved
ones suffer.
So after Dr. Josh Norine, D.C. at TotalHealthcare witnessed his own grand-mother, Betty Jean, battle crippling kneepain for months on end, he decided henever wanted any of his patients have togo through the same experience.
Betty Jean was an active senior whohad enjoyed deep sea fishing and moosehunting before she decided to have totalknee replacement surgery at age 81.
But she couldnt have imagined theawful pain shed have to endure for
months after it was over. My grand-mother is an incredibly strong lady, butthe pain she was experiencing after thesurgery was so intense, she cried, Dr.Josh says.
Dr. Josh notes that for some people, like his grandmother, the pain of rehabili-tation after knee replacement surgery canbe much worse than the pain theyd expe-rienced prior to going under the knife.Thats why he decided to begin offeringa new nonsurgical treatment program at
Total Healthcare in Roseville for patientswhod like an alternative to total kneereplacement.
Over time, the natural fluid thatcushions the knee joints can break down, resulting in horrible, bone-on-bone painand stiffness, Dr. Josh explains. The safe,FDA-approved treatment offered at TotalHealthcare involves a series of naturalinjections to restore that fluid.
The injections, taken from roostercombs, have proven effective in reducingknee pain. Surgery isnt the only option,
but most people think it is, Dr. Joshexplains.
Some people might have alreadytried this treatment with little or noresults, but Dr. Josh says patients at TotalHealthcare can be nearly guaranteed painrelief, for two reasons.
First, the staff at Total Healthcareoffers in-house physical therapy designedto help patients heal fast.
Second, Total Healthcare doctors usespecial equipment that allows them to
see inside the knee so they can ensurethe shot is injected into exactly the rightplace.
The treatment program takes only oneor two months, and theres no downtimerequired. Pain relief can last for monthsafter treatment, sometimes even years,Dr. Josh says, and Medicare and mostinsurance companies often cover a largepercentage of the cost.
Dr. Josh says he never wants to see hispatients suffer like his grandmother did,
and invites those who suffer from kneepain and stiffness to call Total Healthcareto see how they might benefit fromthis innovative treatment. Many TotalHealthcare patients who undergo thistreatment report being able to dance witha spouse once again or finally play withtheir grandchildren for the first time inyears, Dr. Josh adds.
They can live again.

What are the symptoms of OA of the knee? Pain while standing or walking short distances, climbing stairs or getting in and out of chairs.
Stiffness in your knee joint after getting out of bed Swelling in one or more areas of the knee

The staff at Total Healthcare wants to help you feel your best. In front are ChrisSantamaria, P.T. consultant, Dr. Josh Norine, D.C. and owner, Dan Delahunt D.C.,
and Holly Spannbaner, office manager. Behind them (right to left) are FleteGray, P.A., Dr. Scott Arneson, D.C., Jeanne Martineau, insurance specialist and
Jennifer Norine, administrator.
Here is what actual patients have to say about their successful treatment for kneepain at Total Healthcare:
My left knee was sopainful that I had trouble
bending the knee to sitdown or even to find a
comfortable sleeping posi-
tion. I was limping badly
when I walked, and found it
impossible to climb stairs. The shots made
all the difference in the world, making it
possible to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs
and sleep comfortably. Thank you so much
for suggesting this treatment. I had no idea
such a thing was possible. Linda
I have been able todo more work around
the house in the past fewweeks than I have been all
summer. My stamina has
gone through the roof and
I have been able to stand
for longer periods of time without pain. As
far as Im concerned, this was a total suc-
cess for me!

Its no surprise then with this tenacitythat Canadian Days also incorporates thisworking-for-a-good-cause notion duringthe festival. It does so by bringing fun tocharitable causes.
