Niedersachsen – framed by the North Sea coast to the north and the Harz mountains to the south, the region offers a variety of landscapes and terrain. Whether you are seeking relaxation, recreation or even an adventure holiday, the region provides for all types of open-air holiday.

It doesn‘t matter if you prefer to come with a tent, caravan or camper van, with a choice of over 160 campsites you are guaranteed to find your favourite place. Many facilities have now developed into real holiday paradises and, alongside excellent pitches, offer additional attractions such as their own bathing lakes with water sports facilities, comprehensive bookable spa and beauty packages or even a sub-tropical bathing paradise. Because it is no miracle that many sites in Niedersachsen receive awards for their attractive range every year and are recommended by organisations such as the ADAC (The German Automobile Club).

Also anyone who spontaneously decides to stay on a campsite on their journey to one of the thirteen holiday areas in Niedersachsen can rent a holiday home or wigwam at some sites. And additional attractions in the surrounding area, such as hiking in the Wadden Sea World Natural Heritage Site, a horse riding excursion through picturesque landscapes and forests or a visit to the towns and cities, will perfectly round off your stay in the holiday destination of Niedersachsen.
