The City of Steinbach is pleased to offer safe and active summer activities for children and youth following the current Manitoba G o v e r n m e n t Covid-19 guidelines

and regulations. The City of Steinbach Summer Recreation Camps have been designed to safely and creatively provide summer activities to campers.

July 6 - 10: City STEPS CampAGES 6-8The CITY STEPS Camp will include recreational dance styles including Hip Hop, Break Dance, Jazz, Stage Combat and flash mob. Children will be exposed to a variety of music and movement provided by instructors from the BOSS Dance Academy (studio location subject to change). Other features include recreational water games, creating a movie trailer, splash park, tech crew training, talent show (tentative) and battle of the crews.

July 13 - 17: All Star Sports CampAGES 6-12We are All-Stars! During this week of recreation camp your child will experience fitness goals/games, softball, soccer drills, tennis, zumba dance, floor hockey drills, track and field, pickleball and more! Stay fit and have fun!

July 20 - 24: X-treme Sports Camp AGES 6-12Off the hoop! Put your best game forward and experience a variety of recreational sports. Camp to include BMX track activities, soccer drills, beach volleyball drills, skateboarding, basketball drills, tennis, floor curling, and so much more! Learn the skills to play your new favorite sport with your new friends.

July 27 - 31: Splash Sports CampAGES 6-12Make a splash! This week will expose the children to a variety of sports including outdoor water sports, soccer drills, ultimate frisbee, volleyball drills, floor hockey drills, baseball and more. Each sport will include a lesson on the sport and a round of games for everyone to get involved!

August 4 - 7: Champs Sports Camp*Note: This is a 4-day campAGES 6-12Join our ‘Champs’ for a week full of recreational adventures and excitement. Swing the bat to hit a home run, dodge the ball to stay in the game, and bowl a strike! This camp will include various recreation sports like baseball, soccer drills, golf, dodgeball, lawn bowling, yard games and more!

August 10 - 14: City STEPS Camp AGES 9-12The CITY STEPS Camp will include recreational dance styles including Hip Hop, Break Dance, Jazz, Stage Combat and flash mob. CAMP DETAILS Duration: Monday to Friday (unless noted)

Drop Off Time: 9:00 a.m. Pick Up Time: 3:30 p.m.Locations will be outlined on your official camp schedule once registered. Locations (subject to change)*: TG Smith Centre/AD Penner Park/Steinbach Soccer Park/BOSS Dance Academy/Steinbach Aquatic Centre and others as scheduled.

*Swimming at the Steinbach Aquatic Centre and Splash Park will be implemented as regulations and restrictions allow. Swimming and Splash Park are not guaranteed during the camp weeks. Cost: $135 - 5 day camp $114 - 4 day camp

Refunds: The City of Steinbach will not provide a refund if an illness occurs or symptoms of an illness are present (related or not related to the Covid-19 pandemic). Registration: Starts June 4, 2020 online at steinbach.ca. If you already have an online account set up for lessons at the Steinbach Aquatic Centre, the same account can be used to register for summer camps.
