Camp Sweet Home Directions:
1. Cut the sky (2½”), water (4½”) and sand (3½”) strips down to 36½”. You will use the remaining piece of the sand strip for the island.
2. Sew with ¼” seam allowance, the sky to the water, water to the sand. Press to the dark fabric.
3. Trace pattern pieces onto fusible web. Pattern has been reversed for you. Chunky cut the pattern pieces to fuse to the fabric.
4. Fuse pattern pieces to fabric. Cut pattern as drawn after bonded.
5. Fuse web to back of quilt squares piece and fussy cut 3 quilts with clothespins.
6. Cut (2) 3.5” squares of black fabric to make yo-yo tires or trace pattern for black and white circles. Use green shank button for yo-yo centers.
7. For the picnic table, fuse web to back of brown fabric. Then cut legs: (2) 3½” x ½”; top (1) 4½” x ½”; chair legs (4) 2” x ¼”; chair tops (2) 2” x ½”.
8. For the umbrella pole, fuse web to back of remaining grey fabric. Then cut (1) 4” x ¼”.
9. Place fabric pieces on background per picture on front.
Row will be 9 ½” x 36 ½” unfinished.
