Enhance your child’s experience with the focused activities of our Enrichment Academy and sport classes. Classes are offered to members, ages 3-5, as add-on programs to Camp Shemesh. Classes are held in one week sessions and run from 12:30-1:30 p.m. each day. Enrichment Academy classes focus on science, art, creativity and curiosity. All supplies and necessary equipment are included in the registration fee. Enrichment classes are taught by full-time members of the CDC staff. Sport classes are taught by our friends in the Athletic Department and focus on developing fine motor skills, teamwork, and active lifestyle habits

Children already attending Camp Shemesh should bring a dairy (no meat) lunch!

3. Hit the “Sign In/Create Account” button at the bottom of the page. You are now ready to look, and register for classes!

3. Fill in your first name, last name, and birthdate, exactly as we have it in our database. This information must match in order to verify your membership status with our database. If the name does not match, you are automatically given the “non-member” price.

4. If the database finds you, it will pre-fill in the information we have on file. (Figure 4) If it does not pre-fill in your information, AND you are a current member, please call Cindy Reed, Account & Systems Specialist, at (402) 334-6452 for assistance.

5. Create a “User Id” that is NOT an e-mail address. (Figure 4)

6. Create a Password. Please record and store your User Id and Password in a safe place. You will need this information every time you register online. (Figure 4)

7. Hit the “Go!” button. You are ready to register online!

Payment Information• To complete an application, a $50 nonrefundable deposit for

each week of camp is required at the time of registration.

• Payment plans are available if necessary. Participants are required to pay via automatic bank withdrawal or credit card.

• All camp fees must be paid in full by August 1, 2019.

• We do not offer prorated amounts for days missed.

Change Policy• A $25 change fee is assessed for switching camps within two

weeks of the camp start date.

• A family may be subject to a $25 fee if subsequent changes are made. Change fees and any additional costs should be paid in full at the time of the change.

• Adding a camp is not considered a change and families will NOT be assessed a fee.

• We will not change existing payment plans.

Cancellation Policy• Notify the JCC Program Account Coordinator, Johanna

Berkey, in writing of cancellations. Written cancellations can be e-mailed to [email protected].

• No pro-rated or full refunds shall be permitted if a camper leaves after the week of camp has started, but before the end of the session. This includes half day and before /after care add-ons.

• If a cancellation is made after you have already paid in full, your payment will be returned minus the $50 nonrefundable deposit.

Camp Financial Assistance AvailableFinancial assistance may be available through the Jewish Federation of Omaha. Financial Assistance recipients must be Jewish, but do not have to be members of the JCC. Applications required. Application deadline is March 1, 2019.
