CAMP LOGOS MISSION PROJECT
Our mission project for Camp Logos this year is to help our local foster children. Many times when children are placed in foster care they are not able to bring items from home. We are going to make bags for them filled with basic necessities and an item that will help bring them comfort during this difficult time in their life. The most needed items are pajamas, underwear, socks, and hairbrushes. Other helpful items are toothbrushes, small fleece blankets, small stuffed animals, hair barrettes, body wash, books, and toothpaste. All donated items must be new. You can bring items to the church office or donate money for items to be purchased. We are receiving donations now through Sunday June 10th.
At the end of June, our youth group, along with several other youth groups from all over the South, will be attending Middle School RYM at Laguna Beach Christian Retreat Center in Panama City Beach, Florida. The main speaker is Tim Frost, who will be discussing why Scripture
is relevant. The conference will be June 25th-29th. Please be praying for our middle schoolers, as well as the chaperones, as they travel, learn about the gospel, and make new friends.
SAVE THE DATE ... Make plans now to join us for a fun evening at the Atlanta Braves vs Arizona Diamondbacks game on Saturday, July 14. Game time is 4:10 pm (EDT).
