1.1. Structure of General Department of Waterway, Maritime Transport and Port
The General Department of Waterway, Maritime
Transport and Port (GDWTP) was established by
Sub-decree No. 216 dated on 13 October 2016 on
the Organization and the Function of the Ministry of
Public Works and Transport.
1.2. Responsibilities of GDWMP
The General Department of Inland Waterways,Maritime Transport and Ports is in charge of themanagement and facilitation of the affairspertaining to the inland waterways, maritimetransport and port sector.
There are four departments under GDWMP(as shown in the chart)
